PANSYSTAR

The time since the battle had been a blur for Pansystar. What felt like meer hours on the battlefield had in reality been moons. When she brought the battle patrol back to camp, they found their Clanmates in a deep slumber. She was trying to make sense of it, but the reality was hard to accept.

There was so much to do. New-leaf was normally a time where they would gradually prepare the northern camp for the flood season. Now it was greenleaf and they hadn't moved camps. MoonClan warriors awoke to flooded dens. Who knew when the water came this year.

Pansystar dragged herself to the meeting place, her wet fur weighing her down. She felt the pull especially on her shoulder, still injured from the fight. Her fur had been burnt away, leaving her with a bubbling blister. She'd already been seen by the medicine cats, but it still hurt her to put much pressure on it.

She still had to discuss everything with Humble Bone. Sunchaser had given the Clans some vague warning after they defeated the other diety. Who knew what that would entail. Who knew if he was even being serious rather than trying to scare them. Pansystar didn't want to wait around and find out.

But there were more pressing matters, like getting her Clan out of this mess. "MoonClan, I know we're facing weird times. We've been set moons in the future, from leaf-bare to greenleaf. With the flood situation in the camp, it's best we get moving immediately."

Pansystar looked at the cats gathered, wet pelts with water half-way up their legs. "Gather anything you can scavenge from camp. We don't have anything prepared in the newleaf camp." We'll be working overtime just to get it livable.

"Mentors and queens, check on your apprentices and kits. Make sure the elders are all acconted for. We'll be leaving at sun-high."
