Family Bonding || Frigidheart + Wolf + Nightpaw Family Time

Sore physically and now with a doubly bruised ego, Nightpaw pulled himself up into a sit and shook out his pelt before giving his chest a few embarrassed swipes. “If I was any younger, I wouldn't exist,” he joked in an effort of levity, looking up playfully at Wolf, batting at their fur playfully as if reassuring him that he was fine. “I'm fine, though, I'm just kinda sore. The ground snuck up on me.”

He peered at Frigidheart from around Wolf, tilting his head with a restrained concern. “You okay, though? That sounded like a rough fall.” He thought briefly about what his parents might say if they found out about this outing, and promptly ignored the possibility.
