Amaris curled to herself in a hole and whimpered as her body shivered with another contraction, why did she have such a curious and idiotic personality she should have waited for Rookbrair to come with her just in case this happened, now she was having her kits all alone with no cats to protect her and she was horrified, especially when she had been exploring she had caught the smell of a fox awhile ago, they must be on the hunt for something they can sink their teeth into.

(Hope ya don't mind a little help from Swallow  Something drew swallow out of her nest that morning. Moving may be a little hard but she traveled to thefallen tree and clambered on it, scanning the area. A clump of fur caught her eye. Was it sleeping or in pain? she crouched a small bit, her belly nearly craping the ground. She came within full veiw of the figure. "Amaris?" |

Amaris ears flicked at the sound of someone's voice and looked up and sighed in relief seeing it was Swallow
Th-thank starclan y-you are here.....I-I May be having the little ones a bit soon....
She said with a laugh followed by a sob of pain, this felt awful....

Swallow darted to a close tree and scanned the floor. "Be fully warned, I do NOT know what I am doing, but bite on this." she said offering a stick to Amaris.

She nods at her words and gently took a bite at the branch, it was surprisingly made her feel at ease just taking a bite out of hit as her yelps.
Man why did no one tell her kitting was painful.

"Okay I think you push now!" Swallow said, her mind frozen up. How did Feather do it? a stray cat around her old twoleg place had two litters of kits, and swallow had been there for the second one...

At this point she didn't end have to tell her as she just listened to what her body wanted to do.... it was a bit agonising with all of this pain just being a horrible yet exciting experience because she could finally meet them.
Her little sunshines, the firstborn wasn't even here yet and that was when they heard something outside rustling through the bushes.

Swallow's ears perked up at the rustle. "Amaris, your nose is better than mine, what is that?" she said, shaking and hoping beyond hope that it was just a squirrel.

When she heard Swallow ask that she gently placed the twig down and despite the pain focused on smelling the air and she paled
"I-It's......It's a fox...." She stammered now horrified that a fox had caught smell of her vulnerable state...this was bad....

Swallow's heart quickened. She had no fighting skills, and she was very pregnant... This was really bad. Her only hope was getting lucky and clawing it.

Swallow....I-I'm scared...
She admits with a soft whimper looking over at Aqallow with worry since she was also expecting, this was a tight situation and she hated herself for causing issues for Swallow...thus was really nit the ideal situation to have her kits in.

In many scenerios like this, Swallow would have said something like 'well get through this' or 'its going to be fine.' but she knew there was a low chance of them both surviving. Swallow leaned on her back legs, ready to pounce at the fox, however high she could.
"Amaris, I'll see you on the other side." swallow said, fully prepared for the likely chance of dieing, but hey, anything for a friend.

Wai-wait---Swallow---no!!! Do-don't do that!!! She said with a quaking voice as she bite the stick suddenly feeling her body focus on bringing her own kits.
As this took place a fox appeared and tries to push us head into the den

Swallow defended. With no experience, she unsheithed her claws and scratched at the fox's chest fur. As the fox charged forward again, she bit into it's side and was imidiately pushed back by it;s large white paws.She blinked back the pain that her chest was in from the fall and pawed the fox's nose out of the den. The fox shook itself and tried to breach the den again.

Although faint, Windwhistle could hear the sounds of struggle. 'What's happening..?' She thought to herself while sneaking out of camp She knew Amaris had left recently so maybe it's her? Knowing how far pregnant Amaris is she worried that Amaris could be kitting. Windwhistle bolted to where she suspected the sound to be. "Amaris!"
