 Mentions: sloeflameThe young tom looked down upon the fresh kill pile after having gone on the dawn patrol with his mentor, he was able to check and see that the queens, kits and elders food had been brought to their dens and so he knew he could now select something for himself as he looked down in what now was a growing pile as their prey came out of hiding from leaf bare the tom gave a soft purr finally selecting a small vole that would tide him over until much later in the day. He spotted a fellow apprentice near by and at last second picked up a mouse as well padding in the direction of his den-mate " wood you like to join ee?" he mumbled through the tails. Sloepaw took a good look at the mouse, metaphorical brow arching high in confusion before she gave in with a nod. A snort left her maw at the other apprentice's mumbled words, and she decided to offer some better mood. The sun was shining -- awfully enough -- and she was done with shuffling around outside where the light could hit her fur and warm her up. "Sure."
Though her mind clinched with paranoia, she took a few slinking steps towards the tom, aiming to pluck the mouse before he could offer it over. "You're Snowpaw, aren't you?" The words came with a touch of condescending scrutiny, but she grinned at her next inquiry nonetheless. "I was actually thinking of hunting for owl pellets today, and slipping them into cats' nests. Want to help me look?"
