 Mentions: cherryfire The larger she-cat sat down on the edge of camp a mouse between her paws that she had selected so she could have the energy and strength to go back out and do any patrol. As she bent down to take a bite she noticed Cherryfire and smiled they seemed to be in their normal happy mood, Swanmask shuddered to think what the other they might look like mad. She could tell though that was not something she would want to be around for if anything ever happened she waited to see what Cherryfire would do, maybe Swanmask could join them. She took the mouse's tail as her gaze followed Cherryfire hoping to get their attention. She let out a soft purr and let her tail wave side to side as she began top move closer. Cherryfire caught Swanmask's smile as the other warrior began to approach them. "Oh, hi there! How've you been today?" She had a mouse with her, so Cherryfire assumed that Swanmask would invite her to share a meal. Her stomach growled when she saw the food, and she awkwardly chuckled. Guess I'm hungrier than I thought.
As the molly approached, Cherryfire waved her tail. "I didn't know hunting patrols were back already!" she exclaimed. The brown feline licked her lips quickly, eyes darting to the fresh-kill pile, looking to see if there was any more prey there. Mouse was great an all, but Cherryfire prefered the leaner meat of a hare.
"I'll be right back! I think I see a hare in the fresh-kill pile." Without waiting for a response, the warrior bounded across camp. She was happy to find that her suspicions had been correct; a fresh hare was on top of the fresh-kill pile as if it was waiting for her to fetch it. Satisfied with what she found, Cherryfire strutted back to Swanmask, the hare dangling from her jaw by its ears.
"Hare is my favorite! I hope we get a ton of them this newleaf." The warrior's whiskers twitched as she giggled with their excitement. "Oh, what am I saying? We always get tons of hares here!" |

The she-cat held back a chuckle at Cherryfire's enthusiasm now she knew the other enjoyed hare's at least though it wasn't what she thought she might learn from the other warrior. Content with the mouse for now she set it down noticing that they were out of the way enough not to disturb others. "It is true the enjoy the clover in the fields so there always around somewhere." she stated as she looked at the other "Much harder to spot in what forest we have but also possible." she added as she tucked her tail in beside her making things as easy as possible on others that may pass by. Swanmask recalled the question Cherryfire had asked before she had added on the other topic "Oh, and I've been alright so far today but every moment carries something else so who knows. How about your day?" she asked.

Cherryfire chuckled. "Yeah, I don't know why we even have that forest. There's never anything good in there." Cherryfire hadn't thought about hares loving clovers. Maybe that'd be the best way to hunt them; hang around the clover and she could wait for ne to arrive. That sounded much easier than chasing them around.
