Skylarkbee stretched his legs as he made his way out of the warrior's den. The tom felt sore, but could not fathom why. He had recently moved his nest again, this time towards the entrance of the den. If only to be up before the others so as to not be disturbed. The last time he'd been near the back, he'd been bombarded with a snore-fest. Not ideal. He flicked his cyan optics up towards the sky. It was warm, for once, and the sun felt wonderful on his pelt. No longer would he have to trudge through piles of snow just to get some hunting done. But was that more of an advantage for this mostly white feline? He sure liked to think not. His short fur was not built for the winter. The warrior found himself settling down to groom his toes. He contemplated on just what he wanted to do today. There was no sign of either of his parents, as if he'd see them anyway. His gaze flickered across the clearing before he resumed his grooming. No sign of his littermates either. He might just have a peaceful morning for once.

"Hellooo! Skylarkbee!" Cherryfire's cheery voice came as they approached their littermate. Cherryfire too was one for early mornings, always eager to join the dawn patrols. She thought that Beestar appreciated her enthusiasm, even if it meant upsetting some of the warirors who wanted to sleep longer.
"I just finished dawn patrol! I was leading so we got to leave early." There was a giggle in their voice as they spoke. "What about you? What'd Beestar got you doing for the day? Oh! Can I join you?"

An audible groan left Skylarkbee's maw as Cherryfire joined him. Ah, she was the chatterbox of the family. One of the reasons why he avoided her as much as he could. But perhaps Starclan was trying to tell him something about family. He might as well get used to it. The warrior lifted his gaze up towards his sibling, blinking. "Patrol you say?" He thought for a moment. What could he even say to that? Especially her follow up question... The tabby had nothing planned for the day, not even a task given to him by any of the high ranks. Maybe that just showed how distant he was from even his clan. "What's it to you anyway..." He let out a gruff mew. Not that it would deter her, with her cheerful attitude and all that. Skylarkbee rolled his eyes before rising to his paws. But there was no escaping this. She was like burrs to his fur. Cherryfire would surely follow him everywhere if they had nothing better to do. "Hunting." He finally blurted. It might get him a little bit of peace and quiet if he managed to get her to agree with him. "Or are you too tired to bother?"

Cherryfire wasn't going to let Skylarkbee's grumpiness get the better of her. They knew that even if their brother was a bit tempromental, he still loved her. They were family, after all. If nothing else, they had eachother to hang onto.
Skylarkbee suggested hunting and Cherryfire eagerly nodded along. She knew that their paws would be hurting by the end of the day with both the early patrol and the hunt, but truth be told they didn't care. They were just happy to spend time with their brother. Things like that seemed so rare these days. "We could check out Sunchaser's Meadow," they suggested. "There's bound to be some rabbits this time of year!"
"Unless you'd like to go somewhere else, Sky!" I'm cool with anything."
