Where is my little flame? Crowflame thought to herself, padding seriously towards the apprentice’s den. This was the last place he’d ever thought he’d be looking for his young apprentice. I mean really, an apprentice? In the apprentice’s den? Absolutely absurd.
This was what ran through the large mollie’s head as they approached the offending den, stopping just outside the entrance.
“Seedpaw? Are you in there?”

The noise that the large molly made was the stuff of legend. To her. Of course his apprentice was waiting for him in the apprentice’s den! That much should have been obvious.
“An assassination attempt!” The large cat hissed, quite easily pushing the apprentice off of them. “And to think, I thought you learned nothing useful from me.” Xe huffed, though there was a clear tone of pride in xeir voice.
“Come on.” She ordered as she shook out her fur. “We need to patrol.”

⚠ Seedpaw ⚠ With a laughing yelp, Seedpaw fell off Crowflame. Her tail curled with the perceived praise, beaming up at her mentor from her spot on the ground, still on her back. With Crowflame's orders, though, she perked up. She flipped easily back up to her paws, standing straight and tall with pride and curiosity. “Again?” Weird. Didn't they patrol yesterday? Catch mice or whatever? “Are we going fox hunting?” While she'd been informed time and time again that fox hunting wasn't a thing cats did, and in fact wouldn't be worth the effort, she'd never given up grand ideas of hunting the predators that even Clan cats feared. That StarClan feared? They must. |

“Yes.” Crowflame answered impulsively, shaking her head as if trying to shake the words out of her mouth. “Possibly.”
The large mollie’s tail flicks as he starts to lead the apprentice out of the den, towards the camp entrance. “The day is still young.” Xe truly hadn’t had anything that grand planned, but if they just so happened to run across a fox…xe was confident the two could take it.
