A Ramen Flame Start ~Joining~

Ramen looked at Lichenshine, but at the sight of a cat. He just looked. "I don't know what happened to my mom." He said which was true. Ramen had been separated from his mom, but that had been days ago. Ramen looked at Rookbrair when she spoke.

Ramen looked at the ground again not sure what to say to the two, but looked at Lichenshine. "Warrior Clans?" He asked curious about it since he knew nothing, then it dawn on him. "By the way my name is Ramen." Ramen added still looking at the two.

Spiting others, especially her Clanmates, wasn't generally something Rookbriar tried to do - yet in this instance she felt a bit of smugness as she listened to Lichenshine's begrudging handling of the situation. Perhaps the kit- Ramen- took priority. “Rabbitstar doesn't have a lot of choices on how to handle it,” she mused, thinking partially aloud. A strict follower of tradition, his paws were likely tied in the matter. In any case, she turned her attention back to Ramen. Having recently raised her own kits, she was more acquainted with a kit's development. Around four moons old...? He might be able to make the trek...

“Will you be okay walking on your own?” Better to ask and be safe. It wasn't as if she knew what he as an individual was capable of, after all. “If you have any trouble, don't hesitate to let me know. I'll help you.”

Who knew what the poor thing had been through. Gesturing towards the path they should walk with her paw, she kept her eyes on him. “If you don't mind me asking, when was the last time you saw your family? What happened?”

Noble? The hesitation of doubt kept Rookbriar's mouth shut as she listened to Lichenshine's description of SunClan's leader. It wasn't an argument she ever felt interested in getting into. Instead, she noted to herself that Lichenshine and Rabbitstar had some very similar growing to do. “Rabbitstar is the leader of SunClan,” she elaborated. “He keeps the Clan safe by making important decisions, we rely on him when we're feeling lost.” She wasn't sure what sort of knowledge Ramen had and what sort of explanation would give him the best insight, she just hoped that would be sufficient.

It wasn't as if he'd get much chance to ponder it, as the scents and sounds of SunClan's camp grew more and more prominent.

“Lichenshine, why don't you bring Rabbitstar out here? Let him make his decision without attracting too much of the Clan's attention. We wouldn't want Ramen to get too overwhelmed,” she suggested. As soon as she'd suggested it, though, she wondered if it was such a good idea what with Rabbitstar's wariness of outsiders. Best not to express that to a cat like Lichenshine, though. She smiled gently at Ramen, inhaling slowly and counting the little kit's stripes. Relax, don't get swept up in what hasn't happened.

“What is it, Lichenshine?,” Rabbitstar asked, emerging from their den with Seedpaw being sent on her way. Too chipper despite the serious discussion of her constantly flunked assessments that had just concluded. In any case, he had a new focus.

Lichenshine had a serious expression most times that he’d seen her, but it didn’t stop his mind’s impulses. “Is something wrong?”
