A considerable yawn would part Lavenderpatch's maw as she rose from her nest and stretched. It had been several weeks since the battle against Sunchaser and Moondancer, the time skip, the camp being on literal FIRE, and cleanup efforts, and if she were asked she would not hold back in her massive relief about finally getting back to some normalcy. Slipping from the warrior's den, she blinks a few times as the sunlight blinds her after the darkness of the den.
Taking a seat, the molly would get to work grooming her pelt, its unique color and pattern a point of pride for the molly. As she worked, her blue eyes would slowly move over the commotion of camp, trying to see if she could spot a familiar face or pelt among those in the clearing.
Spotting none so far, Lavenderpatch decides that some breakfast is in order and so makes her way over to the fresh-kill pile, perhaps there would be someone there she could talk too, or maybe even a patrol to join?

☼ Coyotesprint ☼ Having been scouting out potential victims Clanmates to create some sort of sparring patrol, Lavenderpatch quickly caught Coyotesprint's attention. They'd already scouted the camp for the morning to check for any defensive weaknesses or fire hazards - a boring task that they'd been asked to handle in advance, but a boring task out of the way to leave time for their passions: battle. So, leaving the leader's den to report their findings (nothing), Coyotesprint bee-lined for their breakfasting Clanmate. “Any plans for the morning?,” they asked as they approached, finally properly looking at who they were addressing. It wasn't as if Lavenderpatch was easily lost in a crowd. It was more so that Coyotesprint had been more eager about a presence than putting any thought into who they were addressing. Having solved their unmysterious mystery, they flexed their claws and gestured beyond the camp's walls. “I'm planning to gather a training session soon, if you're interested. The more the better.” They/She + Single + Bi

// i LOVE your template for lavenderpatch!
Lichenshine padded towards the group, ready to pick something off of the fresh-kill pile. Their first patrol wasn't scheduled until dusk, something Lichenshine would have to chat with SunClan's deputy Swanmask about. What was she supposed to do all day, laze around like some elder, gossiping about whatever nonsense was spreading around camp each day? The idea of that life bored Lichenshine to no end. Elders were respected for their moons of service but ended their lives in the most pitiful way imaginable.
Their ears pricked when they heard Coyotesprint discussing sparring. Their green eyes flitted to Coyotesprint and Lavenderpatch before approaching them. "I'll go too." Lichenshine flexed their claws into the grass, tearing it. "Give me something to occupy my day."

Her attention would be grabbed just as she picked up a small sparrow from the pile. Her clear blue eyes would slide over to Coyotesprint as they offered her a spot in their training session. Placing her meal down between her paws, the molly would smile easily, "Sure, sounds like a good way to spend the morning."
Her attention would turn to Lichenshine next and her smile would only widen at the idea of sparring with her clanmates. Much like Lichenshine, the idea of lazing about all day wasn't exactly the most appealing to her. Her haunches would twitch with anticipation and she bent her head down to take a few quick bites of her bird before stretching and looking between the two, "Shall we look for any more joiners?"

☼ Coyotesprint ☼ Coyotesprint nodded with a lash of their tail as extra confirmation. She was pleased already with how easy it was to start the formation of a small sparring group. “The more cats, the more opportunities to hone our skills.” She glanced around the camp, pale green eyes honed in for any movement that might give away a cat's presence if they weren't already plainly visible. Not as if she really cared - and was it even still relevant? - but they'd already met Rabbitstar's minimum of cats to take out to the territory. He couldn't really stop her, anyway. “There's no better way to get the day going than to make yourself a stronger fighter," they commented. That was always the end goal. Get stronger. Lichenshine's whiskers twitched. "Well, we could always track down Pikestorm. Swanmask and Rabbitstar would surely be too busy." The silver calico tried to think of more SunClan warriors who'd be both interested in sparring, and not insufferable to be around. The list was much smaller than Lichenshine anticipated.
"Snakeeater or Turtlefang might be good choices." Lichenshine had no idea if the two warriors would be patrolling or not, but she was beginning not to care. The restlessness she felt when she entered the sparring plans was steadily returning. "Maybe we head out and find someone along the way."

ROOTPAW& ❥ Rootpaw had been idle, shuffling the earth a little and watching old ash get mixed in. Overdue for his warrior ceremony but too unsure of his abilities to even consider the possibility, though his ears perked a little when he heard—and then saw—a little group talking about training. Combat was definitely not his strong suit, and while he wasn't familiar with any of the gathered cats—he really needed to talk with others more—he felt a little nudge from Flower and Stem. What's the worst that could happen? You need the practice anyway.
Stem hesitated a moment before finding herself standing up and cautiously approaching. "Will uh- Could I maybe join? I should be training a bit harder now." is what she managed to ask, coming off just as nervous as she felt despite the internal cheers from the other two she shared a body with. sunclan — apprentice — healthy Rootpaw talks in "bold #eb4468" — attack in bold italic #eb4468 Flowerpaw talks in "bold #eb7444" — attack in bold italic #eb7444 Stempaw talks in "bold #44eb74" — attack in bold italic #44eb74 © Artificial_Radiance

Lavenderpatch listened to the others with a thoughtful smile as they listed their options for gaining more members for this little sparring session. Whiskers twitching, she would pick up movement from her peripherals and turn her head to spot Rootpaw making their way over.
Ah, she vaguely recognized the cat, always having found them the tiniest bit...odd, but in a way that she found charming. She couldn't quite put her paw on it why, however. As they spoke up she would blink in surprise at their request to join them. Oh? today was full of surprises, wasn't it?
Flashing her clanmate one of her charming smiles she would tilt her head towards the others, "I don't have a problem with you joining us, Rootpaw. We were just talking about how to rope more cats into this little adventure of ours. Got any other ideas?"

Lichenshine was surprised to see the usually timid Rootpaw approach the group to spar. Maybe his mentor was finally setting him straight. Who knew?
"We shouldn't wait much longer," Lichenshine commented to Lavenderpatch. "We've got enough cats for two groups. I think we'll be fine." Lichenshie could feel their paws itching as the group grew stagnant. They were ready to spar and win.

☼ Coyotesprint ☼ Coyotesprint nodded, clawing at the ground beneath her. “Momentum is a key part of combat.” As they said this, they glanced at Rootpaw acknowledgingly, as if it were targeted advice. With a glint of inspiration from their own ideologies, she flicked her tail towards the entrance while lowering herself - primed to bolt. “What if we make it a little race, while we're at it? A little race never killed anyone.” To claim competition never killed anyone would be the biggest lie in life. Survival, combat was the ultimate competition - but she couldn't think of a race that led to any deaths. Not yet, anyway. Their best effort in persuading a softpaw like Rootpaw. | Warrior - Sunclan - she/her talks like "this" - attacks like this

Snakeeater slithered up behind the group, giving an intrigued hum, "do I smell sparring?" She smiled, "I could use the warm-up." She shook out her mane with a sigh, "I was planning on going hunting, but a bit of friendly competition wouldn't hurt, so long as claws are kept sheathed."
The latter part of the statement was purred, a sickly sweet threat. A promise. A viper showing its fangs.
"If any of you are ready to be thoroughly outclassed by a cat with a lame paw, of course." She chuckled, brightening her visage once more.

Lichenshine's whiskers twitched at the comments of Coyotesprint and Snakeeaters, and she couldn't help but feel a bit of amusement at the competition. They had no idea what they were in for. Especially once a race was mentioned.
They stretched their long legs, preparing themself for the race. "You're on."
