PANSYSTAR
The news of the battle had spread through MoonClan like wildfire. It was all any cat talked about in the journey to the northern camp. Pansystar tried being empathetic. The news must've been exciting for her Clanmates who had awaken from the coma. But after the moons of hell she'd endured at the paws of these deities she could only find further discussion of them exhausting.
She was glad to do something as routine as warrior ceremonies. It felt strange to award names who had been asleep for three moons of their training, but both Nettlepaw and Ivypaw were so eager to begin their moons as warriors. Pansystar didn't think they'd be behind, and if they were, MoonClan cats always had a way of looking out for eachother. They'd be fine.
Pansystat called the Clan to gather. When they were settled, she wasted no time starting the meeting.
"Cats of MoonClan. Today we have the honor of welcoming three new warriors into our ranks. Ivypaw, Nettlepaw, and Nightpaw please step forward. From this day forward, you will be known as Ivystrike, Nettlestorm and Nightfrost. We honor you for your courage and commitment to your Clan."
The warriors were named and the Clan took up chanting their names. Pansystar waved her tail for them to stop. "Brightkit, will you step forward? You've long reached the age of six moons, and it is time that you are made an apprentice. Lionshine, you will be Brightpaw's mentor. I hope you can pass on your wisdom and good attitude."
Like the new warriors, the Clan took up the chant with Brightpaw new name.
"Before we close, I'd like to bring something to your attention. As you know, we lost Stormfade and Flintstorm in the battle against Sunchaser and Moondancer. And we honor their sacrifice for their Clan. But another warrior is missing. Webleaf was not present at the battle, and has since been missing. Keep your eyes peeled for her on your patrols. We don't know what could've happened in the moons we missed."
"Thank you. Clan dismissed." Completing the meeting felt like a weight off her chest. Maybe their life could finally return to normal.
