Wolfblood Warrior + He/Him + 18 moons
If the recent events going on bothered Wolfheart, the tom never showed it. The grey tom was still as cold as ever, preferring to be on his own with his patrols. Not a wise decision, he knew, but Wolfheart was stubborn: it seemed as if he thought he could defeat the gods on his own. Today was no different; the young Warrior was preparing to go out of camp on his own now, heading towards the camp entrance as if he had a mission to complete.

A broad, white head poked out from the elders den, watching as the younger tom made his way to the camp entrance. Again. With all the goings on, the old cat was more often than not confined to camp, something xe was not exactly keen on. It knew it was old, but it still felt somewhat capable, and moons upon moons of wandering made it difficult for it to stay in one place for long.
“You there.” The huge cat called out as they approached. Xe made a face as if trying to recall something. “Wolf.”
The scarred cat padded up to Wolfheart, its expression akin to a smirk.
“I see you’re leaving on your own. Again. Not exactly a crime, but could be a bit suspicious, no?”

At first, Wolfheart had not noticed Frigidheart peeking their head out of the elder's den. He actually didn't notice the elder until it padded over to him, making a comment about the fact he was about to leave camp by himself. Wolfheart's lips twitched for a moment, clearly annoyed by Frigidheart's presence. His tail tip twitched as he offered a response, "You're acting like I'm a disloyal Warrior." Although Wolfheart supposed he agreed with Frigidheart; it would look suspicious... if it were literally anybody else. "I have no reason to be with anybody else right now. Needlesong has not assigned me to any patrols."

“Oh, I wasn’t implying that, surely.” The old cat meowed smoothly. “I was simply making an observation.” Its long, silky tail flicked, tiny ears twitching. “You know you remind me of a much younger me.”

"Frigidheart, leave the poor guy alone," Mosstumble meowed, padding up to the elder and Wolfheart.
"Don't mind his crankiness," the grey warrior responded, whiskers twitching. "Frigidheart thinks if you take any kinda break it's a slight against StarClan themselves." Mosstumble looked at the elder and chuckled, hoping the tom would take it light-heartedly. "If you wanna keep busy, we could always patch up that hole in the camp wall. The queens have been complaining its too close to the nursery." |

"Oh, is that so?" Wolfheart raised an eyebrow at Frigidheart's comment. "Perhaps I should stop by sometime, maybe get to know why that is." His words had no meaning to them, however; nothing against Frigidheart personally, even if the elder feline was known to be odd around the Clan. Wolfheart had better things to do, like just getting fresh air without his Clanmates surrounding him. But alas, such was not the case.
Mosstumble came up next, commenting on Frigidheart's attitude. His whiskers did twitch in amusement at the other warrior's comment, offering a light-hearted comment of his own, "Well, looks like I'll be becoming the next Frigidheart, then." At the mention of the nursery, the dark grey tom's eyes flickered over to it before he replied, "I suppose that's not a bad idea." He couldn't just deny that now, not with Frigidheart's comment about him going off on his own lingering in the air. Not that Wolfheart had anything suspicious going on, anyway.

“Cranky? Who’s cranky?” The old cat smirked, eyes sparkling mischievously. It wasn’t bothered by the other warrior’s words, viewing the whole interaction as nothing more than friendly banter. Xe nodded at the suggestion, flicking xeir tail as xe turned in the direction of the camp wall hole. “Oh yes, Swiftsnow has been complaining about that for what feels like ages. And trust me, I would know about ages.”

Mosstumble laughed, first at Wolfbloods retort, then at Frigidheart's joke about ages. Wasnt that true. Mosstumble wasnt certain, but they were pretty sure Frigidheart was old enough to be their great-grand parent. Mosstumble didn't dare bring it up, not wanting to sour the elders unusually humourus mood.
"Well then we shouldn't keep her waiting any longer then. We can probably find some materials north from camp. That sound good to everyone?" |
