⋆⁺₊⋆ sunclan ─ warrior ─ they/she ⋆⁺₊⋆ ⬤xxA snow-white and golden-brown tabby molly was just finishing burying a fresh catch between the roots of a leafless tree, leaving her marks on it and padding closer to the cold river that separated SunClan from MoonClan.
⬤ She renewed SunClan's scent among the border, and took a few quiet sips from the cold water, fur slightly bristling at its temperature.
⬤ One of their striped ears lifted as they drank, and quickly their head lifted, eyes sky-blue and honey-gold, both fixed onto the other side of the river, where trees were more numerous.
⬤ Thinking of the possibility of seeing a MoonClan warrior, her muscles tensed and she flexed her claws slightly instinctively, at the thought of the previous events in her clan.. Beestar..
⬤ Their eyes stared away as if Wheatbee's skull was emptied in a forceful attempt to tear the memory from their mind, but she returned herself to her senses and remained alert, only remaining a muffled thought questioning the veracity of the attacks as they scanned the river's other side.

Needlesong, strangly, seemed to have been approaching the river before noticing the younger warrior, offering a pleasant smile despite current tensions, "ah. Greetings." He dipped his head a touch in greeting, moving to sit about a tails length away from the river, just in case.
"I didn't think anyone would be out here today, much less alone with current tensions. Curious." It hummed, "no need to worry, I have no intent to cross or attack, I just like to walk along the river to clear my mind on occasion."

⋆⁺₊⋆ sunclan ─ warrior ─ they/she ⋆⁺₊⋆ ⬤xxWheatbee stood a little straighter, their tufted tail rising high in greeting. Recognizing the cat's position in MoonClan, she dipped her head in respect as she mewed, clearing her mind to provide a polite response.
— Hello. I wouldn't expect it, either.
⬤ Conversation of any sort troubled her, but the deputy's tranquility made her a little inclined to it.
— It's a surprisingly fine day, for leaf-fall. And despite it all, it's good to get a break from,.. all the current events. And it's a little easier to find focus alone, isn't it?

He turned his nose skyward a moment to get a feel for the air before humming his agreement, “I suppose it is, though bad weather couldn’t stop me from leaving camp on occasion.” He laughed, “it is nice to be some estimate of alone, though. Even if that isn’t truly possible for me anymore.” He mused, trailing off a moment.
”I must say that I never truly understood the rivalry between the clans, though that may just be the perspective of a tom that isn’t clan-born.” He laughed, “but from what I’ve seen of either clan - though I haven’t seen much of yours - neither seems willing to do away with cats as young as apprentices.” He gave a small snort, “though, I suppose a lot could have change in the few moons I was gone and I am simply being gaslit by my leader, but I find that highly unlikely. I simply doubt she’d be capable of such a feat.” |

⋆⁺₊⋆ sunclan ─ warrior ─ they/she ⋆⁺₊⋆ ⬤xxWheatbee sat down, curling her tail around her paws – something which looked a little unnatural, considering how they had been holding it so stiff and upright. It looked rather as if it should break rather than bend.
⬤ She was relieved, in all honesty, to have such a calm conversation, a break from being Wheatbee, even if a part of her did not trust the deputy, or protested in that low angry buzzing in the back of her head.
⬤ At a certain little seemingly meaningless comment –regarding if it was possible for Needlesong to be alone anymore – the ever-alert warrior flicked an ear, but although friendly, their dichromic eyes said nothing, nor did their mouth until the deputy had spoken. And even then, the thought was shrugged off for a more interesting one.
— Well, surely I've no word to give on Pansystar, as I don't know more than a moonly glimpse of her at Gatherings, – but if a cat's instinct is to be trusted – I really doubt she'd do such a thing, or that my clanmates would, for that matter.
⬤ They shook their head slowly, thinking of Beestar and forcing her fur to remain flat. And without offense.. No MoonClanner would be able to take any of us down like that!

"I'm glad we can at least agree on that." He mused, watching her for a long moment, seemingly gauging her reactions before speaking up again, "now, I may be speaking out of turn here, but I'm not sure how well-equipped either of our leaders are in dealing with this situation." He sighed, "Rabbitstar seems far too aggressive and frankly conspiratorial, and Pansystar lets him walk all over her." He shook his head, "I fear for both of our clans with the current going as unaddressed as they have been."

⬤ They sighed.
— I think you're right. Whatever they're doing- and what they aren't doing doesn't seem to be leading us to the right path. Atleast for what concerns Rabbitstar.. this could be handled much better.
⬤ She shook her head slightly, looking away for a moment, as she added.
— But I'm just a warrior. Maybe he's got a plan. But it sure doesn't sound like he's got a single idea. He's lucky our Clan is strong..
⬤ Illuminated by a new idea, her ears perked up and she directed her gaze to Needlesong.
— But, aren't you a deputy? Surely you could atleast help your own leader to do the right thing.
