╭ ꜝ `` honeymoon ﹒﹒﹒`` ꒰﹕``𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭`` — fluffy beige peach fur, sawdust-hazed eyes. ﹕m : relaxed - : Midday ꒰﹕``𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧`` — meadow by outskirts of Sunclan﹕N/A ꒰﹕``𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞`` — . ╰
The sky was vast and veiled in a blanket of pale white thinned wisp clouds, the sun rested high in the sky but was foggy beneath the shroud of white, the bright blue hue bloomed from under it. The meadow bed of shrubs was blanketed and swarmed by sunken palettes of amber and tawny-coloured leaf, some crisped and brittle. Great oak trees blossomed in a flare of crimson and canary colours against the horizon, embedded by great graphite and marble-coloured rocks that intertwined their roots, bubbling a nearby narrow stream of water that seeped from cracks and tunnels of the earth. Birds twittered and chittered quietly across the woodland.
A small adolescent warrior feline trotted across the meadow, occasionally, her gentle paw steps would crunch a dried leaf or twig in the pine-coloured grass. Honeymoon had lingered a few moments before each paw step to interpret her surroundings, she hadn't realised how far she had proceeded outside the camp, nor had she noticed it yet. Everything was open and cool in the leaf-fall air, from Honeymoon’s perspective it could have been cold to any other felines, but it didn't bother her. She gazed across the further side of the meadow, marvelled and in awe of the blazing colours that prolonged across the land, she could see everything a lot more distinctly from the centre of the meadow. Homeymoon was humbled by leaf-fall, it was warm and fuzzy, though for a moment a sudden thought came to her and she pondered on whether fresh-kill ever noticed leaf-fall- probably not. Honeymoon waked a gentle purr through her throat and continued on her stroll, streaks of dazed pale sunlight illuminated the amber colours of the woodland, radiating a golden haze in the air.

As the trees in the sparse wooded sections of Sunclan's territory had grown more brittle and empty, dropping leaves like flies, Tinyleaf had lost the benefit of his favorite past-time; Climbing about the few local trees just didn't hit the same, not when brushing up against any bushel of branches might send a shower of decay down to the earth below. At the time of year where prey was beginning to make itself scarce, that made any undue disruptions all the more risky for warriors. Flushing out what little creatures remained, hiding in the remaining shade before it disappeared once and for all, meant starving a clanmate of their next potential meal. And while Sunclan was far from impoverished for the time being, the patchy warrior took his duty to the others extremely seriously. For better or for worse, there could be no more scampering about like a squirrel. Not until the branches bared and left little consequence to where he placed his paws.
With that in mind, he did what most everyone else did when they were out and about- He perused the meadow, albeit not without a few measured shakes of his pelt every few pawsteps. It had certainly grown cold these past few days, and with it, the tom's shorter pelt wasn't providing much in the way of warmth. As he padded about, shaking his fluff as if to get the insulation working again, he couldn't help the tense scrunch to his pink nose, a slight furrow on his otherwise bright and unguarded expression. It could always be worse, he reasoned, with a thoughtful sway of the tail. I could be.. stuck in a snowdrift! It's not even snowed yet, so I'm actually very lucky!
In the midst of his contemplation, he almost didn't catch the warm pelt of his clanmate across the way. In the glow of the backing forest, gilded in yellow and fuzzied in the sunlight, Honeymoon almost blended in entirely. It was only the drift of her scent, of something warm and familiar in the otherwise chilly meadow, that pulled Tinyleaf from his thoughts. Instantly, his tail hooked into an orange question mark, green eyes blinking across the field to where the she-cat was strolling. Then, ears pushed forward eagerly, he came trotting into the grasses, parting around his path like wading through a river. "Hello there!" He lifted his voice in greeting, a cheery quirk to his outspread whiskers. "Mind some company?"

The she-cat carried a shrew clutched in her maw having managed to catch it on this cool leaf-fall day when it had stopped to pick up a couple sunflower seeds that had shed from the flower, stepping carefully forward after a bit she could catch the occasional crinkling of leaves under paws. Her ears located where the sound was coming from and so she took a moment to bury her kill before proceeding to try and find the cat who must just be out for a stroll not that there was much to worry about the past couple moons however that didn't mean the she-cat was any less attentive to her surroundings. As she followed the soft sound she came to the edge of the meadow picking up the scent of Tinyleaf more fresh she soon seen the toms curled tail making her grin slightly before she also spotted Honeymoon a she-cat she hadn't had much contact with as of yet though she had sent her on a couple patrols she had yet to ask her to lead one as well.
When she heard Tinyleaf's greeting she couldn't help the small purr that slipped he was always one to make others feel included and lend a helping paw. She appreciated him more then she let on but those were thoughts for another time instead she made herself known as well "Hello you two, out for a stroll this sunhigh?" she questioned as she emerged from the taller grass though now it bent near the top indicating the change in seasons it was still tall enough to hide her large form.

╭ ꜝ `` honeymoon ﹒﹒﹒`` ꒰﹕``𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭`` — fluffy beige peach fur, sawdust-hazed eyes. ﹕m : relaxed - : Midday ꒰﹕``𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧`` — meadow by outskirts of Sunclan﹕Tinyleaf, Swanmask ꒰﹕``𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞`` — finally responded ╰ Honeymoon retraced fondly a few steps to the right towards a pool of sunlight cascading downwards into a thick stretch of grass and thicket before pausing for a few seconds at the sudden voice from behind, she had almost recoiled in surprise as she felt as if she had been wandering her own mind for so long that she had forgotten what another feline's voice has sounded like, she turned towards the direction of her fellow clanmate and her eyes lit up in awe and the she-cat expressed a feel of homely welcoming, letting out a warm purr she continued slowly on her stroll. Tinyleaf "not at all, sorry! i was a bit... erm- lost!" honeymoon exclaimed "its really quiet out here" the she-cat smiled and stopped for a moment by a slightly raised lump of hill and sat by a viewpoint over the meadow, the sun stretching itself high overhead in the sky, a few moments later before she had stopped a faint brushing of overgrowth caught her hearing in the distance and she turned her head as the feline emerged from out of the woods. "Hi, swanmask! I was just saying how quiet it is around here" she purred. "Not for long." Honeymoon paused for a moment as Swanmask headed towards them, and then she turned her head back over the meadow, her eyes glowing in distant thought. There was a warm, contempt feeling towards the day, despite the slight touch of leaf-fall cold, and the slow crisping of grass and the leaf that blanketed over the meadow, leaving everything in a kind of golden-brown caramel haze. The umber trees blurry in the distance, the trampled and drooping thicket, covered by thick filings of muddied brown and red leaf, the occasional lavender blossoming from out of the blanket of leaf, or a half-torn drooping bluebell in the gentle breeze. Everything was at ease for the most part. In the meadow maybe? Honeymoon had never really looked at leaf-fall this way, or any other season. She was always busy with her sister, Cosmoflare. Thinking of it, they hadn't really been together all that much anymore, but that didn't hurt them. Recently, honeymoon has learned to appreciate small things, like moments like this in the meadow. it was nice. Honeymoon glanced over to her clanmates and purred.

As a dark figure approached the two, Tinyleaf looked over just before the presence made itself known- Swanmask! Immediately, he turned a quarter to meet the deputy, a swell of excitement curling in his heart like a wisp of embers caught in the wind. If there was one thing better than a pair, it was a trio! His earliest kithood had taught him that much. Even better was a trio with one of Sunclan's most precious warriors! As Honeymoon called out her greeting, he offered a wave of the tail for his own, already aloft in unconcealed delight at she-cat's emergence. With a slight tremble to the gesture, he then let himself fall back on his haunches, mirroring his other clanmate's posture as he blinked warmly towards their newest arrival. "Come join! It's nice out, isn't it?"
Honeymoon's purr seemed to affirm as much, the way she seemed content just to rest and let the meadow carry her mind away. Tinyleaf wished he could be half as relaxed; Somehow, even with the whole world aglow in perfect, picturesque hues, he couldn't seem to pay it more than a passing, appreciative glance. But then, he'd never been much of the cozy type, able to rest and admire his surroundings. He was much happier to be an active part of that picture, always finding something to do! Even just sitting out with another warrior, he couldn't help the slight shift of his ears towards any given sound, eternally restless. But.. it's important to build bonds! Even in quiet moments!
For all his restlessness, though, he couldn't help his gaze lingering on Swanmask's form among the grass, swathed in the field which was always seemingly the perfect height for all Sunclan's cats to stalk within. Even their biggest! As he looked up at her eartips, big smile softening into something smaller at the observation of just how closely they skimmed the free sky from the just tall enough brush, Tinyleaf kneaded the ground in a slow, thoughtful motion. As nice as it was to see her out and about like this, he hoped their fateful encounter hadn't drawn her away from any important business... Tilting his head to peek at Honeymoon, he then blinked back to Swanmask once more. "Honeymoon's picked quite a view, if you're free." Please be free!
