.
The sky was hazed by a blur of sunlight through the blanket of wisped clouds, dew sparkled across the stretch of fern and drooping seaweed-like grass. Dark damp clumps of soil cradled the juniper green wetlands, softening the earth beneath it, the sky was white and fresh in the open air, carrying a scent of the damp earth and sparkling dew against the grass, a stream bubbled far in the distance and the wind gently waved against the overgrowth.
A blue-black tomcat perched beneath a clearing of tall grass blades, he gazed into the distance of the bright cold morning sky. his eyes glazed against the snow sky and illuminated deep abyss shades of blue. The tomcat began to twitch and stretched himself upright, uncurling his limbs. It was the first time in a while that cometdazzle had just felt nothing particular, it was a normal morning, but no normal morning is a normal morning for cometdazzle. As the feline strolled out of the tall grass his fur began to gloss in the morning sunlight and his whiskers felt the fresh breeze against him. He had spent a long while grooming his fur beforehand though he didn't even realise it. The tomcat stopped and held his head forward, adjusting himself he felt the strength in his paws again and looking around his eyes began to sparkle. His paws kneaded at the earth in anticipation almost as if he had just revived himself in the morning breeze. He raised his tail and lifted his haunches, he wiggled. The tomcat bolted and leapt throwing himself into the glittering dew, and then he felt his paws hit the earth and he rolled and tumbled, flattening and knotting the grass. cometdazzle lay on his back, his paws stretched into the air.
He blinked at the grass and just began to lay still. lost in thought and gleaming at his surroundings. he stayed there, as he was.
