The tom had gotten an idea, whiskers twitched as he carefully carried puffy white mushrooms into camp. Not wanting to break them before his idea could come to pass as he sat the various sizes of them down, of to the side out of the way of the various paw steps of his clan mates where he had previously managed to set brightly coloured orange, red and yellow paint. His idea to him seemed simple as he had once heard from a kitty pet about pumpkins and two legs using sharp objects to make faces on them during leaf-fall and therefore his idea was not to get pumpkins but instead use mushrooms having also collected leaves maybe they could serve to make ears if someone chose, that aside he took a stem of one of the mushrooms in his teeth and brought it to the paint.
He began his creation hoping the pile he had collected was enough but even if it was not, he could always run and get more, dipping his mushroom into the orange paint he figured for his first one why not make it as close to the actual thing as possible as an example. Once his mushroom was dipped in a thin layer of the paint carefully using his claw to get the thicker paint thinner in areas, he set it on a large leaf to dry a bit before he began to create holes for the eyes with his claw. The softness of the mushroom easy for his claw to glide through as he carefully managed it, managing a thickened straight line for the mouth he looked at the mushroom after and was proud of what he was able to do.
He set the mushroom aside for a moment looking at it carefully he debated if it needed something more.

PANSYSTAR Bearfreeze's coming and going from cam had got Pansysatr's eye. When it looked like he was fianlly settled it for good, Pansystar approached the young warrior. "What do you have there, Bearfreeze?" she asked, eyeing the paint and mushrooms. MoonClan had been in a crafty mood lately, and it was a welcome change from the constant stress they had been enduring. Having been more focused on their creation they hadn't thought about others that might be interested in joining like they had intended so when Pansystar's voice finally reached their ears it startled them making them looked startled over at the she-cat when they realized she was asking about the paint dipped carved mushroom they purred for a moment "Yes it is, it was a thing I heard once from a kittypet about the weird thing twolegs did back before I came here. Apparently twolegs would take pumpkins and using sharp objects would make faces on them on one night they would put fire in them that made them glow, I thought fire was to dangerous but the rest of it seemed fun to do." they took a moment to pause as that portion of it settled in not wanting to just spiel out words to where no one could follow along. "Pumpkins seemed to hard to find and carry around by the way the kittypet described them so I thought maybe the same could be done with something else, so I selected mushrooms something easy enough to find and carry and seemingly softer on the claws." they explained "I got the leaves in case someone wanted to use them like ears or something else make it more... real like. That's what I was trying to figure out just now was if I wanted to add them to mine or leave that one as it is as an example." they added.
Tail tapping lightly on the ground they looked once more to their leader hoping they hadn't overwhelmed her with their chatter "Would... would you like to try?" they asked wondering if she would give their idea a try.

PANSYSTAR What a strange tale Bearfreeze had to share. Kittypets and twolegs and fire. Pansystar tried her best not to concern herself with such things. MoonClan's affairs kept her busy enough as it was. But Bearfreeze's activity was intriguing enough. "Sure, I'd love to join," she meowed before settling in next to Bearfreeze. Pansystar loved to craft. She wasn't as talented as her other Clanmates, sure, but the simple act of making something gave her a peace she hadn't known since her mother was alive. "You know, when I was a kit, my mother used to do stuff like this with me all the time. I think her favorite was leaf pictures. They were happy glad that someone seemed interest in what he was doing sure he knew it was different but they didn't mind. It quickly picked another mushroom from the pile, maybe this time they could try adding some of the extra things and making something different. As they sat once more the listened to what Pansystar had to say finding out that Pansystar's mom used to do crafts with her sounded sweet. Something that it hoped they would be able to do with their own kits some day. When he heard what craft she had liked the most they smiled "That sounds like fun, I've noticed others doing things that included leaf-fall and I thought introducing something different might be fun." she explained.

~~~★ Nightpaw ★~~~ Returning from a hunting patrol, Nightpaw was already on the hunt for something interesting to do in camp. Hunting patrols were fun, but they could be a little frustrating with so much left to learn. It was with great joy that he found Bearfreeze, and even better, Bearfreeze with something new and interesting. He caught the explanation that was offered to Pansystar before finally approaching. “Can I join?,” he asked, eyeing the mushrooms curiously. “I can't believe you found so many of these, and that big too.” He noted that he might have to ask for them to take him mushroom picking sometime, to find where in the territory - or where beyond it? - had things this interesting. |

Reminds me of times like that."Pansystar noticed a smaller cat approaching, and lifted her head to see Nightpaw. He asked to join, and Pansystar quickly nodded her head. "Of course you can."
