“Welcome, apprentices!,” Rabbitstar greeted from the camp’s center, looking down at the competitors beneath him. “For this obstacle course, you’ll be racing from here in camp to the eastern edge of the Golden Pond. The path has been marked for your convenience, so don’t worry too much about what your current familiarity with the territory is like - you’ll need to worry much more about the mounds, pits, burr-lined paths, and other such traps littered along your way! Whoever gets to the end first, wins, as simple as that.”Scanning the faces of the group below him, he smiled kindly. “I wish you all good luck.” With that, he gave a count ending in a harsh wave of his tail for them to begin. OOC INSTRUCTIONS: Though this is a race, cats are permitted to interact. Unless discussed OOC, please use the dice system for obstacle encounters! Below there will be a written description of the path, as well as a rough map. The apprentices’ obstacle course is a winding path from SunClan camp to the eastern edge of the Golden Pond. Not far from the camp, there’s a pile of rocks blocking the path that cats may have to climb or possibly leap over. Followed shortly, there’s a portion of the path having sharp burrs scattered about that cats will have to navigate carefully as to not get pricked. At the end of this path is a branch pile, much higher than the rock pile promptly followed by a pit, which in turn opens up to another burred section and branch pile. There’s a short clear path before another rock pile. Another short clear section, a pit, a clear section, and then burrs once more. Finally, a branch pile and a pit right before the finish. Mentions:
Leafpaw had yet to take a full tour of the territory so they were rather relieved that their path would be marked they would probably get lost otherwise though Brookshine had made arrangements for after the game it certainly would not help him now they wondered what the first obstacle would be like as he got ready once Rabbitstar had finished explaining things as the tom had begun the countdown that would set them all racing down the track towards the finish line they grew excited. Tail twitching with the anticipation once Rabbitstars tail waved down indicating their start the young tom shot forward eager to see how this would be.
(obstacle)
After what seemed like a few fox lengths they could see the beginning of a pile of rocks Leafpaw hadn't exactly been a climber not wanting to chance getting hurt they hadn't chanced doing things that would limit his fun as they began to think about the best way to tackle this while a sigh escaped his maw they carefully began to pick his way through the rocks going for the slightly flatter rocks that wouldn't cut into his paws they took a lot longer then they would have liked.

★——› Firepaw ‹——★ She'd consider her size an advantage for this race. She was fairly large for a cat her age, and it made her confident she could handle most any obstacle in her way. Not to mention all the strange things it'd gone through on its journey out to the Clan's territory to begin with, all the romping around back at home... it was maybe more prepared than the Clan cats would have expected. It didn't take very long, either, for her to get to the first obstacle that quickly proved her confidence to be justified. A large pile of rocks. She didn't have much time to watch Leafpaw carefully pick his way over the pile. With a few quick bounds, she climbed over the rocks and kept her pace going. Who knew what would be next? She kept her eyes alert in front of her as the rocks became a thing of her past. She/It + Single + Bi
