“SunClan apprentices, welcome to a very unique opportunity in the Clan! As you all may be aware, this sort of event has previously been atypical of SunClan. Perhaps, if you all handle this well, your own apprentices will partake in similar games,” Rabbitstar greeted, perched on a low branch in the training hollow after the warriors’ session had ended. “For this game, you all will be divided into two groups - hiders, and seekers. Seekers will be scored on how many cats they find, while hiders will be scored on how long they can remain unfound. Once the first round is completed, the roles will reverse. For the sake of efficiency, hiders are not to leave the training hollow. Hiders will be granted a bit of time to find their hiding locations before the seekers are to give chase.”With the introduction and rules in place, he began dividing up the groups. For the first round, the hiders would include Leafdapple and Rootpaw&. The seekers would include Firepaw. Once all the apprentices were sorted into their respective groups, he waved off the hiders to find their initial spots. “Good luck to you all.”
The game was winding down to an end, Rabbitstar watched curiously with feigned nonchalance. The last few hiders remained somewhere in the hollow while the rest had clustered back in the initial meeting space. The end of this game would certainly be something interesting to behold. OOC INSTRUCTIONS: Hiders can move to keep from being caught, and must be physically caught to count for the seeker. As a general rule, I’d suggest using the roll system for hiding, sneaking, and chasing, unless outcomes have been discussed ooc! Have fun!

ROOTPAW& ❥ Rootpaw sat anxiously in his hiding spot, quickly stepping into a fresh one with extreme precision. Excellent, remember to tuck in our tail, he heard in the back of his mind. He nodded to himself, tail tucking in close as he hid in the brush. He was depending on his light pelt helping him blend into the sand of the hallow, paired with careful positioning against what structures he could manage to hide in or under.
He surprised himself with how well he was doing, entirely unaware of how many of his peers were left. Perhaps his nature as a kit was aiding him; all his hiding was proving useful for games at least, perhaps they'll provide even more for hunting or the battles he dreaded.

The young toms pelt colours allowed more so to bland in more so with the muddy knolls then the sandy portions of the main part of the hallow so the tom had chosen to smother himself currently he seemed to bland in swell with knoll he chose as he had yet to be found leaves and mud clung to the lighter parts of his pelt hiding the white locket on his chest he even managed to stick a leaf near his eye making him look like just another piece of the knoll. He tried to keep his eyes closed allowing his other senses to heighten so that the shine of his eyes wouldn't give him away though sometimes he took the chance and glanced around making sure not to move a muscle after all the ground doesn't move at least not normally. As he sat still waiting patiently he focused on the sounds and feeling of things around him hoping his luck would continue.

★——› Firepaw ‹——★ She'd been doing fairly well for herself so far. To her great pride, she'd found many other cats, and knowing that there weren't many more left made her paws move quicker than ever. It did end up being a surprise for Firepaw to have to end up hiding herself. The glint in the earth had caught her eye before it had vanished, prompting her into hiding herself until she saw it again. Clever. Its next target had been settled, but seeing as they were this far into the game, it figured it'd give them a chance. Readying itself from its hiding place, it raced after the cat hidden among the earth - giving him the chance to try to get away should he opt to take it. |
