Well, after the fiasco with Seedkit's escape from camp, it was time to report to Swanmask. Hopefully the deputy wouldn't be too mad about the situation. After all, it wasn't Cherryfire's fault. Seedkit just seemed a bit overly skittish was all. Yeah, that was right.
Cherryfire approached the deputy, dipping their head in respect. "Hey, Swanmask," she meowed sheepishly. "Reporting in after the commotion."
//ooc: for context, cherryfire was sent to fix a hole in the nursery. seedkit got freaked out and ran out of camp,. she got injured and cherryfire brought her back to camp for sloeflame to treat! |

The she-cat had been slightly lost in thought when Cherryfire approached her wondering just how the clan might be able to work our more of an introduction type thing to the kits so that what had happened today wouldn't be such a problem as it seemed the kits choosing to stay away from meeting the whole clan until they were apprentices might not be such a good idea when Cherryfire's words finally reached her, she blinked a couple times to clear her focus before laying her eyes on the shorter warrior "Cherryfire has everything been settled?" she questioned wanting to check with the warrior before she went off to see for herself.

Cherryfire nodded her head. "Yeah, should be," she meowed. The whole ordeal was quite shameful. How it even managed to happen in the first place was beyond Cherryfire. "She's with Sloeflame now. She should be patched up in no time."
The warrior looked up at the deputy, wondering what was in store next. Would she be punished for it. Surely not, right? She'd just been there to repair the den; she wasn't responsible for watching kits! But every Clan member was responsible for kits. So we're all responsible? I just can't see this ending well..
"What now, Swanmask?" she asked, feeling a nervous knot in her stomach.

Swanmask thought about it for a moment "I think I need to discuss with Rabbitstar about something we can put in place that would help in these situations, even if that means having clan members introduce themselves to the kits throughout their time in the nursery so that their more accustomed to everyone in the clan. This was of no fault of yours Cherryfire, it could have happened to anyone we sent to repair the walls." Swanmask explained at first it would have seemed proper to do something about the fact Cherryfire had been there when Seedkit had ran out and into the woods, however after some thinking she had decided that wasn't the best thing to do. No one could have predicted the young ones actions that lead her into getting hurt but they could all keep an eye out for the kits of the clan.
