Pansystar had asked Mosstumble to check on the northern part of the territory. This time of year, the streams would begin to freeze the further north one went. I guess she wants to see how much time we've got left until leaf-bare.
They had brought Stormchaser along with them. Stormchaser seemed like a nice enough cat, though Mosstumble couldn't say they knew them too well. It was probably time to change that.
"Hey, Stormchaser," they'd meowed, looking at the warrior beside them. "Uh, why'd you wanna join in this task? I mean, I'm sure there were cooler ones." Again, their awkwardness would get the better of them. They clapped their jaw shut, deciding that maybe, just maybe, talking was a horrible idea.
