LIONSHINE Taking in a deep breath, the cool leaf-fall air felt icy in his lungs. The crisp air caressed his silky fur, gently tossing it about until it no longer laid flat, forcing him to shake it back into place - and it made him smile. Though the needles of MoonClan’s evergreens remained firmly on their branches, the leaves of bushes and other more seasonal trees were drifting their way to the forest floor. As the wind continued its run, the loose leaves swirled and stumbled atop one another.
It awoke something kit-like in her.
Instinctively, Lionshine dropped into a hunting crouch before making a swift pounce at the warm-toned flurry and granting him a satisfying crackling crunch beneath his paws. The impact was satisfying, but stirred up another bout of leaves. Lionshine watched with wide eyes, curled tail swaying in enjoyment. While the cooler weather would spell a problem for them in the future, the joys the change brought had made themselves apparent. A shame to let the joys of the season go unacknowledged by her fellow warriors but - just as much a shame to be caught playing in leaves.

Swiftsnow trotted along on short legs, head held high and breathing in the cool air. She loved leaf-fall! …Well really, she loved every season, but right now, leaf-fall was her favorite.
The little cat had ventured out to get some fresh air and search for anything interesting for her decorations and crafts. Sticks, pretty leaves, flowers, anything was fair game to the little queen. Well not everything, but anything within reason.
Swiftsnow’s ears perked as fae thought fae heard something. A particularly big something. Fae listened, then dropped into a crouch, approaching quietly. Fae broke into a wide smile when fae eventually caught sight of the source of the sound.
“Hello, Lionshine!”

The she-cat had ventured from the camp in search of prey initially though she was not on a patrol it gave her something to do as her apprentice had been brought out by a fellow warrior on a border patrol it gave her a moment to herself she hadn't expected to run into anyone least of all another warrior playing in the leaves though as Lionshines impact swept the ground a little causing leaves to swirl along the forest floor the she-cat could see the enjoyment and it stirred the playfulness in herself as well she batted at the scattered leaves hoping the breeze would catch a few so that they would begin a dance along the ground. She purred as a few of them joined the current swirl and watched as new leaves fell from the branches "Lionshine, Swiftsnow good to see you both out and about." she purred.

｡ₓ ू ₒ ु ˚ Lionshine ˚ ू ₒ ु ₓ｡ Upon hearing the first voice of the gentle Swiftsnow, his fur bristled - possibly high enough to reach StarClan - promptly knocked out of his hunting position and into something more scattered. Before he could collect his thoughts, he heard the casual greeting of one of their newest warriors. He scrambled for a contained sitting position, wrapping his tail around his paws to feign calm, despite his fur's jagged state. “Oh! Hello Swiftsnow, Webleaf! What, um, what brings you two out here? Out for a stroll or completing duties?”Admittedly he didn't know what queen duties might take Swiftsnow's paws out and about the territory, but there were a plethora of options for warriors. Of course, it could be that they wanted to enjoy the cooling air, what with Swiftsnow's thick pelt and Webleaf's dark fur... a flurry of options coursed through his mind, the tip of his curled tail twitching with every passing thought. |

“Hello, Webleaf!” Swiftsnow chirped ecstatically, delighted to have more company. “I’m just taking a stroll!” She mewed, turning to Lionshine. “And seeing if I can find anything interesting to bring back for decorations. The kits love it!” Fae rocked on faer paws as fae spoke, barely containing faer energy.

Webleaf gaze returned to the swirling leaves for a moment before returning her full attention to the duo before her "I came out to hunt on my own since Nettlepaw was taken out by the border patrol, though its not an official duty." she replied to Lionshine. Tail flicking lightly in the air as a leaf brushed past her nose her eyes followed in until it rested among the others about the ground, "What brings you out today Lionshine?"

It wasn't like he had any need to lie about the nature of his own outing prior to the incident, but it felt like any answer he could come up with might be suspicious in one way or another. “I just wanted to take a stroll, enjoy the fresh air. Maybe do a little informal patrol of the area, make sure there aren't any strange cats lurking in our territory, that sort of thing.” It felt odd for the three of them to all be out for personal purposes, though there were often moments like that. It wasn't really strange at all. Giving his pelt a shake, he looked between the two of them. “Have either of you managed to find anything interesting? It's been pretty standard for me, I haven't come across very much.” |

Swiftsnow looked between the two, then at her paws, thinking. Anything interesting? Everything seemed interesting to the little cat. The crisp leaf-fall air, the leaves themselves, the odd shaped branch she saw many pawsteps back…there were so many things she could answer with!
Faer ears perked as fae seemed to come to an answer. “I managed to find you!”
