Marigold had been traveling for a long time and she was close to having her kits. Not paying attention to where she was going, she didn't know that she had wondered into Sunclan's territory. Marigold only had her kits on her mind. She didn't want anything to happen to her, but anything could happen while she was on her own.

Marigold just wanted a home her for her little ones to be safe. She stopped and laid down near a tree, wanting to rest for a moment before continuing on her way. Marigold ended up laying down and closing her eyes for a moment, since she was tired. While her eyes were closed, she still listened to everything around her.

Swanmask padded through the forest softly barely a whisper of a sound as she searched for prey or even trespassers her group had separated slightly in order to cover more ground but they were still within ear shot of one another as they swept the woods for anything. The she-cat thought she had picked up the sound movement from another when she padded forward trying to follow it however the noise ceased before she could lock on it and she continued forward a ways before coming across a scent trail that was unfamiliar to the she-cat and held no clan scent at least she knew that Moonclan wasn't causing problems today. As she followed it slightly back a ways she purposely stepped upon the twigs knowing the mistake would be picked up by the others in her patrol and they would meet her to see what was going on.
