**✿❀ Daisyfire ❀✿** In her humble opinion, being dead was stupid. Lurking in the same territory she'd spent most of her life on but now unable to communicate with her loved ones outside of dreams, incapable of helping or interacting with the world at large at all - it was annoying. What of all the StarClan cats who had reportedly spoken with medicine cats and leaders alike? Cats who had visited StarClan's hunting grounds, leaders who had the lives, and medicine cats who had the prophecies, to prove it? If that was what being dead was meant to be like, then why wasn't that what Daisyfire doing? Why was she still excluded from the supposed glory of refusing to lend any help to the living? ... being in StarClan wouldn't make being dead any less stupid, but at least it'd make some semblance of sense. This post-life of wandering was exhausting. Was there a reason for it? Now sitting at the Moonpond for possibly the millionth time since having died, she stared at the water with heavy criticism. How to undo the undoable? What was the point?“What do I do to fix this?!,” she shouted at no one in particular, at StarClan, at the universe, at Sundancer and Moonchaser, at herself, slamming a paw on the ground beneath him. The lack of real impact was all the more frustrating. With an agonized groan, she turned away to find something to do with herself, but stopped quickly. She got the sense there were other ghosts nearby. Relief and hope alike flooded her spectral body, and she took a few steps in hopes of being more obvious. “Hello? Anyone there?” She/He + Single + Bi + Ghost + Shadepool Darkcinder

"..You can hear me?" On tentative paws, a blue cat emerged from shadows of a rocky outcrop. Or perhaps melted out, taking solid form from an otherwise intangible state. Ever since she'd ended up like this, her capacity for control over much of anything seemed to come and go. Some days, it'd afford her a body just like this one, as true to life as he'd been what felt a forever ago, now. Other days, he could hardly seem to hold himself together- in certain cases, quite literally. The past few instances of his consciousness had been scattered, pulled from the earth like fragments of a broken whole, and hadn't lasted long enough to allow her any sort of prolonged sentience, much less a body that outlasted a passing cloud. She could still remember dissipating into nothing, and it frightened her. It made approaching other cats all the scarier, never knowing if they couldn't perceive him because of his current displacement, or because of his wildly varied states of permanence. But, somehow, this lynx point had heard him creeping along the waterside when nobody else had so much as raised an ear to his persisting shouts since he'd first woken up like this.
Not so much relieved, but in cautious encouragement, Shadepool crept forward- but no amount of slowed pacing could shake the confidence of a seasoned warrior from the proud lift of his head, held high and alert in observation of the scene before him. Again, as if daring fate to change, she murmured, "Can you see me, too?"

**✿❀ Daisyfire ❀✿** Relief flooded in her chest - she was being seen and spoken to? This blue cat was unfamiliar, but if the coming out of stone and mutual surprise was any other indicator, it didn't matter. Daisyfire bounded toward the other cat, stopping two tail-lengths away, his own tail waving frantically with desperate enthusiasm. “Yeah - you can see and hear me? Outside of a dream?” Though the lack of interaction had been killing him - so to speak, not like there was much left to kill physically - Daisyfire hadn't fully realized the sort of impact a moment like this could have as emotion swirled in his chest as he watched the blue anomaly in all her glory. “Wait - are you... are you also a ghost?” It made the most sense for why he'd be confused that she could see him too, and again, the coming out of a rock felt like a dead giveaway. Still, she didn't want to make any presumption. “I'm Daisyfire, I'm - or, I was - a MoonClan warrior, I... I died a few moons ago, I guess. Who are you?” The rushed nature of all her other interactions made formality seem so difficult here. It felt like the other cat would disappear in an instant, resigning her back to isolation, desperate for the night. Surely, it'd be alright like this, though? She/He + Single + Bi + Ghost

☽☆A Soul Departed☆☾
The tom had decided to wonder the landscape a little, questions swirling in his mind about everything that had happened he had managed to converse with Rabbitstar through his dreams though it had taken some energy to do it, it seemed to have worked out fine though limited as it was to only be able to do things that way at least he had spoken with someone after what had happened. Now as he passed by the area that held the moonpool the tom was able to pick up voices one voice in particular caught his attention and that was the voice of Shadepool the cat whom had mentored Rabbitstar and who Darkcinder had been told had also passed and was found with him. Curiosity carried him forward now as he crested the ledge and took the path down he spotted another cat with the blue warrior and continued drawing near managing to hear that this was Daisyfire a Moonclan warrior who had passed from what sounds like the same time frame as them "Hello you two," he meowed out in greeting always being a cat of few words sometimes made things difficult.

**✿❀ Daisyfire ❀✿** Her pelt bristled briefly in shock, but flattened quickly once the recognition processed. “Wait - you see both of us, too? Are you- are you also a ghost?” Daisyfire's tail curled and lashed in alteration, an enthusiasm that couldn't choose which way to best manifest itself. The question - and maybe the sight of another ghost - made him realize there was another question at play. Perhaps, a more important question than just verifying whether or not she was in the company of the fellow deceased. “Wait, wait - if you two are dead, too, why aren't you in StarClan?”He wasn't sure which possibility was more baffling. The idea that she alone had been excluded from the fabled, glistening hunting grounds, or the idea that there were other cats who were sharing her miserable earth-bound afterlife. She didn't recognize either of these cats, after all. They could be SunClan, they could be from generations far before her. They could be non-Clan cats all together, even! What united them? What made them so similar that they might share this fate? Something they did? The fate of code breakers, maybe? ... that would be pretty excessive. She/He + Single + Bi + Ghost

The introduction was desperate and frantic, reminiscent of all the moons(?) Shadepool herself had spent running around Sunclan's territory, calling out to anyone, just anyone, to please answer her. Old apprentices, former friends, even her seniors- but none had raised so much as an ear to her plight. Hearing another cat in the same scenario should have mustered some form of comfort within him. A clan cat was social by nature, never meant to stand alone like this. To have found an ally... was always cause for celebration. Yet, he had a moment of reproach when the name of Moonclan dropped, intrigued eyes dimming with instinctive wariness towards even so much as the ghost of an enemy warrior. What could it-
Ah-
"Darkcinder!" Shadepool gasped out the name before he even caught sight of his clanmate, whirling on a dime to face the darker tortoiseshell with a warm flood of relief smoothing the prickle that'd started in her hackles. "Oh, what are you doing here, like this?" Although he'd only been Rabbitstar's mentor, he could still recall training the young apprentice next to their denmate, Darkpaw, and the extended pride he'd felt for both toms seeing them grow into strong warriors. And what was it for? Oh, Darkcinder, not this young. Her eyes scanned the other with barely contained fussing, although the depth of his frown must have conveyed it tenfold. Then, with a softer voice now, her prior edge lost, she murmured, "If this is death, something must be wrong. No warrior of Sunclan would end up like this." Blinking back to Daisyfire, she added with a hint of her old mentoring firmness: "Shouldn't you be asking the same of yourself? How can we answer what you haven't?"

**✿❀ Daisyfire ❀✿** SunClan. She should've known. Daisyfire bristled defensively at first, but sighed. Now wasn't the time. Besides, death was unity, right? “... so you two are SunClan? That explains it.” Just a few quick words to buffer out the time she needed to think about how to proceed. “I've always sort of worried that only cats born into the Clans could get into StarClan. Unless you two are also not born to the Clans, then maybe we're just bad warriors.”That didn't seem like the case, though, and her long tail flicked with the annoyance of the situation. Hopefully one of these cats was a thinker, because she certainly was not. “I don't even know how long you two have been like this. It was green-leaf when I died, it's only been a few moons. Gets hard to tell without a schedule, I guess, but I know the cats I knew haven't changed much. So I'm still pretty recent, I'd say.” What a weird way to talk about himself. It was necessary, though, wasn't it? She had to figure out what the connection was. She/He + Single + Bi + Ghost

Darkcinder let out a soft purr when Shadepool to try and ease some of the her worry but knew it wouldn't change the older warriors mood instead he just drew closer wanting to be nearer to someone familiar "When I spoke to Rabbitstar about what I've witnessed since finding myself in this state Shadepool's and my body were found together. I didn't want to ask where and how the topic was already heavy as it seems that is not the only thing that's happened something happened to Honeyflare and Fallenpetal as well, when I checked it seems the two have healing wounds so much has happened in what seems like a short time." he explained wanting to give some context.

Shadepool, who'd fallen silent, spoke back up with the advent of Darkcinder's explanation. "I know little more than you, my friend." Green eyes pinned onto Daisyfire, who seemed to have collected the most context for their unfortunate set of circumstances, she was quick to resist the other's proposition. "I may not know what's going on right now, but I know how things were before. I can vouch for Darkcinder, at least- He's anything but dishonorable. I'd think myself the same, if you'd excuse my bias." Silky tail lashing in untargeted frustration, his paws itched to carry him into a pace, anything but to stand around and continue on as clueless as he'd been for who knows how long. Since greenleaf? Starclan forbid... He didn't want to think it true, almost couldn't perceive as much. But... it'd been such a blur for her, she honestly couldn't pin any timeline down beyond her final memory of falling asleep in the warrior's den. Since greenleaf, I...
"Are we dead?" It should have been an obvious fact, but Shadepool echoed it with a degree of strain. If so, how? Why? Wordlessly, he remained anchored by his clanmate, resisting the restlessness of his paws in favor of staying near Darkcinder's reassuring composure. The tortie had always been the quiet, collected type. More than anything, that's what she needed right now. "I just.. can't fill in any of the gaps. I don't remember dying. I don't remember much of anything at all, and especially not doing anything to deserve this." More antsy now, she glanced at the Sunclan tom. "I don't even remember going anywhere with you, before I wound up like this. How did Rabbitstar tell you any of that? Nobody's been able to hear my voice at all."

**✿❀ Daisyfire ❀✿** Well, she wasn't really going to argue about the two SunClan warriors' - former SunClan? - virtuousness, it wasn't like she had any grounds to argue. The brief lull following the blue cat's declaration of honor gave Daisyfire enough time to ponder. There wasn't really anything similar between her and the SunClan cats - and what did she have in common with Rosebloom, anyway? Rosebloom... The thought of her Clanmate made the invisible kinetic energy of thought feel almost like its own workout, details and dots struggling to connect in any meaningful way. Unless... The question that interrupted that lull made him snap back to attention. He narrowed his eyes, listening intently to what she remembered - or rather, what she didn't remember - and the spark of thought began to blaze. “Well, we're definitely dead. I've talked with a couple of Clanmates to confirm it.” She tilted her head with some consideration, feeling almost hesitant to ask, but... “I can't speak for - Darkcinder? - but I know I've been able to talk to living cats by entering their dreams. If you don't know how to do that, maybe I could show you later tonight.”The offer made her feel a little bristled with nerves, but she did her best to persevere. “Though... you bring up an interesting point. I know my body was found at the same time as another MoonClan warrior, but we hardly ever talked let alone went anywhere together. I don't remember going anywhere with her before dying,” she began, brows furrowing with thought, tail swaying violently with the thought process. “My point is - it sounds like the pattern here is that there isn't a pattern. I don't know what that means, though.” Just two random SunClan and MoonClan cats... for what? She/He + Single + Bi + Ghost
