the endless waters | webleaf + thunderwillow (priv)

It wasn't long since Webleaf had been promoted to warrior rank, but it still struck Thunderwillow with excitement to see the dark she-cat milling about their den as if she'd been there for eons. It made it all the more exciting to see that, after Needlesong had distributed orders, it'd left the two of them out and about with nothing to do. Time in Thunderwillow's paws was a dangerous privilege- if he had it his way, he'd go splashing through the still draining marshlands like there was no tomorrow! But..

The thought of two lost warriors skimmed her mind, their absences in the warriors den only recently having been filled by young Webleaf.

It was probably best not to go out alone! Or better yet, leave another newcomer to make her own fun! On energized paws, the big tabby made a beeline for the new warrior, bolting like a streak of lightning accompanied by the thunderous stampede of his pace (a sound most of Moonclan was accustomed to by now).  "Webleaf! WEBLEAF!" Stopping just shy of the tortie, Thunderwillow bounced in place, reminiscent of an idle jog as she greeted her clanmate. "Hey, congrats on the new name! I totally meant to say it sooner, but you were awful popular fresh out of the ceremony, huh? Hey! What do you say we celebrate by heading down to the lake or something? You and me! We should get to know each other, now that Pansystar's done bossin' you around, huh?" With a humored lilt to that last part, the elder warrior still couldn't help but glance around just in case their leader was in earshot. Or worse, the leader's moonstruck medic! Yeesh! That'd be a scolding well dodged.
