Nights like these were becoming more and more common for Mosstumble. Waking up in the middle of the night panting with moss in their claws from shredding their nest in their sleep. Tonight they decided no more.
As the sun was setting over the territories, Mosstumble rose to their paws and made a beeline for the camp's entrance. If all went well, the sentry would just leave them alone and let them be on their way.
But it was never going to be that simple. Why would it? As Mosstumble approached the camp entrance, they saw the sentry lift their tail, signaling them to stop. "C'mon!" they snapped, tiredness having drained their patience. "Let me go."
