At the very least, he hoped, it might have some sort of insight on how to handle the situation. Insight Lionshine was lacking horrendously. Refocusing on the kittens, he attempted to hide his concern with a smile. “Well- I'm Lionshine. I suppose I forgot to introduce myself before asking any questions. That said, is your mom anywhere nearby, then? Maybe we can find her, you're awfully young to be out alone,” he responded gently, his focus shifting to Starling in particular as he asked the question. The other two kits... if there was no sign of any parent of theirs, they may have to be taken into the Clan... he wondered which queen would take them, before the weight of that decision fully hit him. He dipped his head apologetically to Pansystar. “Oh- sorry, I don't mean to overstep.” |

I'm worried starling speaks too much like an adult "Yeah yeah, Hi Lionshine. What even IS a Lion? Huh? Hm?" Sorry man, Starling only knows birds.
"Heh. Anyway, My mom is not here. Obviously, why would I be out in a really big forest alone?" The kit scoffed. "My mom would never survive without me." By that they mean They wouldn't survive without their mom. |

PANSYSTAR "I'm sure," Pansystar meowed in response to Starling. They were an energetic kit, surely a pawful for any cat. But that same energy was likely the reason they'd made it this far on their own. "I'm Pansystar. I'm the leader of MoonClan, and this is our territory," she explained. Looking at the two other kits, Pansystar nodded to herself. They'd been all on their lonesomes for at least a moon. If their mothers had been looking for them, there was a good chance that they weren't anymore. Especially with the colder months approaching. "Okay. I think it's best that you three come with me. We have shelter and plenty of warm food. We'll take care of you and give you a life to be proud of. It's gonna be okay." Sky, Kit & Loner Sky smiled hearing Stream and Pansystar. Sky looked at Pansystar. "Thank you/" She said as well. Sky was happy that her and her sister would have somewhere to call home, well as well as Starling. Sky looked at Starling trying to figure them out and why they were watching her and her sister. And then Sky's eyes landed on Lionshine after hearing him introduce himself to them. "It's nice to meet you Lionshine." Sky said. |

starlingstarlingstarlingstarl Starling looked up at Pansystar. Shelter and Warm food? All Starling could think was "We're already in shelter, look at the forest??" and about how all the food here's warm. If it's getting cold it's been sitting out. That's really gonna affect that mouse.
"WOW! Thanks Pansystar. I'd wrather stay on my own though. Never know when you're gonna get attacked by someone, I personally wouldn't risk it."
This is bad considering Starling is a child who should not be left a lone in a forest. |

He listened to Starling's rebuttal, and glanced at his Clanmates warily. “Um... there are a lot of larger predators out here, though, but they won't come for you if you're in camp. Not to mention, we'll teach you all we can about hunting and fighting. There are a lot of kits there, too, you might like playing with them.” He wished he knew if that was particularly persuasive to a kit. He made sure to keep Pansystar in his peripheral vision. If the kit was so adamant about not coming with them, would they have to just... take them? The code was clear, kits couldn't be abandoned like this. ... it sounded strangely like kitnapping, even if there weren't parents around to really qualify it as such. |

PANSYSTAR Stream and Sky were easy to convince, and for that Pansystar was thankful. They both seemed excited to join MoonClan, and the leader could see why. They had spent so much time on their own out in the forest. It was a miracle they got this far. They don't have to worry about that now.Starling on the other paw... they wouldn't be so easily swayed. Pansystar nodded her head in agreement with Lionshine. If Starling was anything, they were brave. A part of Pansystar admired that. But ultimately, Pansystar couldn't allow the kit to stay on their own. She would find a way to get Starling back to the camp. She had to stop a smirk from appearing on her maw when she thought of the idea. "Y'know," she began, "MoonClan kits could learn a lot from you. Leader-types do really well in MoonClan. Frigidheart watched the interaction thoughtfully, hanging back a little. It wasn’t sure how it kept getting into these situations, but apparently it was simply becoming consistent in its life.
“Swiftsnow will be happy to have more kits around the nursery.” Xe rumbled, more out loud than to anyone in particular. “You’ll like her, I think.” He addressed the kits. “Fae’s one of our queens, faer very sweet.”
