Unidentified See-Through Objects || Thunder+Crow Meeting

With the instance of gratitude, however unwarranted, Thunderwillow's constantly raging spirit seemed to quell for just a moment, shifted to a warm simmer that shone in the happy crinkle of his gaze. But that momentary peace didn't last long- he was just as easily sparked by Crowflame's fiery passion as xe was Thunderwillow's own electric words. For better or worse, it was a perfect feedback loop, and it triggered the tabby's immediate pursuit of her companion with an incoherent shout, more just to make noise than to communicate any actual meaning. Barreling with aimless intent, she followed the flared end of the Sunclan warrior's tail, snaking through brush and branch with the same reckless abandon.

"WOOHOO!!!!"

The forest was an endless blur between the both of them, a stampede of two like twin comets following an undeterred trajectory where they would ultimately have to crash. Wherever that would be, he wasn't sure. Honestly, it wasn't even up for consideration! More than anything, he was preoccupied with nothing more than his base senses as the wind from their momentum ruffled her pelt pleasantly, hardly slowing as they continued to trample the undergrowth like bumbling badgers... although, as they began to cross the neutral grounds further from the Moonclan end, their endless race seemed to grow all the more convenient as the trees began to thin out into the trademark spottiness of Sunclan's upper terrain.

It made it all the easier to keep going! And so, he kept going! Kept carrying after Crowflame in their shared battle against the ground beneath their paws and the breath beginning to draw heavier from at least Thunderwillow's lungs. Regardless of the adrenaline needed to keep up a constant rampage, it did leave a pleasant burn nonetheless, like a good stretch in the morning after all night spent curled up. Or, as the equivalent might be, moons spent pent up in one's own borders, without anywhere to pelt around like a mindless hare lest you disturb the prey, or whatever.

He almost didn't notice the lapse in pacing when Crowflame's blurred figure stuttered out of focus beside him- but when he did, a mere few seconds later, she tumbled to a sudden halt, the momentum of her feet carrying her haunches right over her head in a spontaneous and totally not accidental cartwheel! Arching like a shooting star, she landed just as suddenly as one streaked by, thumping onto her back with a weight that left the molly breathless for a heartbeat. But not long! It wasn't as if he'd had much oxygen to preserve after their breakneck race across the earth.

Persisting through her own, actual fall, Thunderwillow's upper half sprung up from the ground to lean into a clumsy sit-up from between her still sprawled back legs. "What a journey!" Ignoring the slight rasp tainting an otherwise hearty declaration, he blinked at the Sunclan warrior across the way... and then blinked again, now at their surroundings, as xeir question suddenly processed. "Uhhh..." Hm. "Looks like.. somewhere I've never been?" Then, jolting up a little straighter, he gaped towards Crowflame with the dramatics of a cat who was probably trying to make light of things, but could also very well be serious, given her track record for incoherency. "Is this it? The promised land?! If we stopped here... it's got to be destiny!"

Thunderwillow's gape widened all the more with Crowflame's sudden defeat! Where the tabby lay, slain under the weight of consequence, it seemed as if all hope was lost.. Until, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, his figure sprung up once more! Loud and proud, declarations of victory and endurance filled the air like the words of a righteous leader, filling the molly's heart with an powerful confidence- her loose jaw immediately reshaped, drawn into a broad, toothy grin as she nodded enthusiastically towards the other, nodding, nodding, and nodding a little more, and whew, now her head was starting to hurt! "BRAVO! Bravo, bravo! WOOHOO!!!!" Stomping in a prancing, bouncing gallop of her front paws, she beat down on the ground like a cat possessed! Powerful, thundering smacks to the earth which resounded like a rolling storm, a big sound to usher in Crowflame's ginormous plan!

Honestly, he hadn't even known they were in any particular danger- death could stalk many, but not a cat as swift and smart as him! The fact that the other had detected what he had not, had spotted danger, despaired, and promptly risen to the challenge... Well, that made them just the sort of cat who could guide them both to victory! To triumph! Over something! Anything! Everything! As drastic as xeir words may have sounded, they were spoken with such courageous passion that he couldn't help but be utterly sold on the premise, in complete belief that this was definitely an irreversible scenario that required them both starting totally anew. "A new era! I like the sound of that!" Shaking out her mane, Thunderwillow lifted a paw to swat the air near the Sunclan warrior's shoulder, a gesture of reckless enthusiasm! "I didn't know it'd ever come to this, but I believe you! We're the only survivors left! So we have to rebuild a world we can live in!" Speaking more on spur of the moment inspiration than any actual, rational precognition, Thunderwillow took a look around them at last, eyeing the rocky terrain with the mimicry of a deputy's clever, analyzing gaze. "Well, well... What should we start with? Where's two cats our size going to start our camp? Maybe... under a log?"
