moonclan ─ he/she ─ warrior/monarch A careful paw was rested against its back as Owlwhisker took to comforting the other cat. "There's no shame, Needlesong. We all have our moments like this." She hummed, nosing the top of his head a moment, before pausing to consider the implications. He chose to speak on a separate matter entirely, not wanting to bother him with something other than his comfort. "Whenever you're ready, we can talk more, or we can leave it. It's all up to you."
She gave Foxlily a small look that vaguely meant "Stick around just in case," as things could obviously turn in whichever direction. Having a medicine cat around just in case Needlesong did request herbs or otherwise would be best right now.

He sniffled a moment, forcing himself to hold back his tears, crying now would be embarrassing to say the least. Humiliating, even. Needlesong instead chose to bury his face deeper into Owlwhisker’s chest, just seeking her closeness and scent for the moment.
“I think I need to sleep… Somewhere else than the warriors den for a little while.” He slowly spoke up after a long moment of hesitating, “I might need some lavender to start with but I don’t want to be using it too long.” He gave a small sniffle.
”I don’t think being alone is the best option right now, either. I don’t wanna do anything… Rash.” |

｡☆✼★━━━━ Foxlily ━━━━★✼☆｡ Foxlily nodded at Owlwhisker’s signal, quickly turning her attention back to Needlesong as it spoke. They nodded gently with understand at his words. “We’re here for you, Needlesong - I’ll be right back, I’ll get you some lavender, then.” Having said so, she bolted back into the den and quickly, and quietly, picked up a few sprigs of lavender before trotting back to the pair. Placing the bundle near them so that Needlesong could take it when he was ready, she took a few steps back to give a bit of space. “There you are, a little lavender to soothe the soul.” |

He took a moment to think, giving Foxlily a grateful look before his attention got drawn back to the other warrior. "... You could stay in the nursery? It's not too crowded yet," he offered. Needlesong leaned down and took the lavender, giving Foxlily a small, grateful nod and tired smile before turning his attention back to Owlwhisker, "I suppose... I wouldn't want to impose, but..." He really didn't want to seem too eager. He liked Owlwhisker a lot, maybe a bit more than any of the other cats in the clan he'd befriended thus far, and it most certainly felt safer to be close to her than any of the others.
He shook his head after a moment. "Sure." He finally answered, glancing up at him, "I think I might be able to sleep some in there... Especially with some help from these herbs. " He gave a soft chuckle.

moonclan ─ he/she ─ warrior/monarch Owlwhisker gave a little purr, lifting a paw to gently tussle some of the warrior's fur. "You'll have to stay quiet, though. Nettlekit and Phosphorkit should be asleep, as well as everyone else," she hummed. Of course, his own kits were the first ones on his mind, but that wasn't to say he didn't care for his denmates. He cared a lot, actually, about everyone. "I'll forgo my night walk in favor of making sure you're comfortable; the nursery is a very relaxing den when the kits are tucked into their nests and asleep." She chuckled lightly with fondness after she spoke.

Needlesong gave a small nod and smile, taking a moment to tuck the lavender behind his ear where he wouldn’t have to worry about dropping it while talking, “I can be quiet. I’d even say it’s one of my many talents.” He softly joked with a chuckle.
”You can still go on your walk if you’d like.” He offered, “I can make myself comfortable on my own just fine. I won’t wake anyone, promise.” |
