ROOTKIT ❥ Alright, now I'll go out... a pink nose poked out of the nursery, only to disappear into the darkness once more. Or... not yet...
Rootkit had been going through this loop of thought several times. She knew there wasn't anything she had to worry about outside in camp, but she didn't want so many eyes on her. It was too vast out there, and her mom could only do so much. All her other siblings could be trouble enough, and she wanted to be a good kit and stay in one place. Even if she missed out on playing warriors, or games of mossball, or if her hiding places were a little lousy now...
She gave a little whimper as she stared out at the camp from just within the familiar walls of the nursery. She'd been out before of course, looking for her mother before she got too scared and toddled back inside. She... didn't like being out there, not without Rookbriar at least. Leafkit had been curled around themselves content to just take a nap, however that changed when their ears picked up the sound of their sisters whimper honey coloured eyes opened softly their eyes adjusting to the dimmer light of the den before they were able to focus on Rootkit. Bringing themselves to their paws they attempted to move softly but their inexperience as a kit was evident in the amount of noise that could be heard as they moved. Their eyes narrowed at their paws once they came close enough to sit near the entrance almost near Rootkit their sigh from seeing her unwilling to step a paw out of the den yet another day was loudly heard in the practical emptiness of the den "Did you need something out there Rootkit?" they asked rather bluntly with no emotion in their voice.
Their eyes drifted from her to the covering of the entrance as they thought maybe they would go out again and see what they could do, their game with Brookpaw the other day was quite fun maybe she would play with them again.

ROOTKIT ❥ Rootkit nearly jumped as Leafkit spoke, turning her head to look over at her littermate with a little, worried frown. "I- I wanna go outside and play and meet others but.. it's too scary..." She managed, looking from him and back to the outside world with worry prickling at her pelt. She didn't know what she wanted more: Leafkit to tell her she was being silly and nudge her outside, or for him to call him silly and tell him to go back into the nest since he couldn't figure out where his paws should go. "It- It's just a lot, and I do-don't know what to do."
She looked like she was on the brink of tear again, which was entirely normal for the littler kit but something she wished she could help. If she cried she wouldn't want it to be out in front of everyone, where they would judge her or tease her. That was perhaps the last thing she wanted with any of this. sunclan — kit — healthy

Leafkit thought for a few moments his gaze placed to the entrance of the den with Rootkit in their prereferral, could he slightly help his littermate? If he could just how could they woke it in order to not overwhelm the smallest of them. "Oh, hey why don't you do it step by step?" he suggested lightly "Like instead of going all the way through the cover just peak your head out and see what's happening, once you get comfortable with that you can move a little further out until your completely out there... or if you at any point think its just not worth it then you can come back in. I can do it with you." he offered wanting to be of some help, its not like he didn't care about their siblings its just he didn't like being bothered all that much. He padded forth to the entrance then turned to look at Rootkit to see what he wanted to do.
