It followed the nudge, placing its paw back on the ground, listening carefully as Humble Bone went on about Starclan. “Interesting.” It purred, “and rather pathetic. Placing all of your trust in your ancestors will lead to stagnation, after all… Though I suppose that might work out in our favor, in this instance.”
It went quiet a moment before speaking back up, “care to show me these artifacts you spoke of? I would like to know where they are both so I can keep them safe and so I’ll know where to find you whenever you’re… Busy studying.” |

SPEAKER OF CLAWS They gave a little hum in agreement on its comment on StarClan; while they had certainly heard whispers in their times in the mountains, there weren't any from the dead. Well. Usually.
And then she looked a little uncertain, even given their agreement. It was quickly masked over, that brief twinge of anything other than a cold calm a gift only his siblings got to witness. "Ah, yes. That would be helpful for you..." It gestured a little at the mountains. "There's a flat area up there with caves that surrounds the lake there. I've uncovered a few ruins of sorts, and its easy enough to shelter and linger. The path up, and the lack of food save for large birds, are the main dangers there. And due to that, along with my recruitments, I have needed to take a few days to stay down here."
"Though, again, most of what I found are ruins. They're made by us." It sighed, as though enamored with the concept alone, which would be somewhat of a first. It was only a small implication of how dedicated they had gotten to this research of theirs. "The constructs are much like ones you might find in a twoleg's den, but scaled more for us, and made of stone rather than wood. They carry intricate scratches of claws, stained with dye, and it's... simply amazing to bear witness to."

It listened carefully, though seemed to remain somewhat skeptical still, “I would like to see it myself before drawing any such conclusions, but I’ll take your word for it for the moment.” It spoke, slowly, “but that does sound fascinating. I will follow when you make your trip back up.”
It stood, then, stretching out, “I would like my first time seeing it to be with you, if possible. Just in case.” It looked out over territories, “but for now, we have work to do. No?” |

She hummed a little, tail swaying just a tad. "I'll return to the mountain the night after the moon is full. I feel like we can afford to linger that long."
