Needlesong found himself wanting to leave camp yet again. There simply wasn't enough to get done for his needs, he had to keep his body moving.
Quietly, he contemplated, draped across a sunny rock with a half-eaten piece of prey between his paws. Exploring the woods for shinies would always be nice, but going alone didn't look a very entertaining prospect right now. No, he had to bring someone with him.
He let out a small groan as he took another bite, eyes scouring the camp for someone he could manage to drag along that wouldn't object to it or raise objections from others.

Goldpaw Kind-hearted - Cheerful - Absent-minded Goldpaw was not far away, cheerfully wandering pretty much wherever seemed interesting. He could be a candidate, given he didn't seem to be doing much of use at the moment.
Conveniently, it seemed as though he was wandering in Needlesong's direction, curious about the cat he didn't see very often.

He watched the apprentice for a long moment before finally speaking up, "hey," he mewed, "wanna head out in the forest with me a while? You don't look like you have anything better to do right now."
Needlesong was aware that sounded suspicious on the surface, but he had also heard from other warriors that Goldpaw had a tendency not to pick up on those sorts of things, so he figured he was fine.
"I could use some company while I look for trinkets." He elaborated after a moment of thought.
