RABBITBLAZE
Rabbitblaze was of the “early to bed, early to rise” preference. While he liked to be flexible, he’d much rather head out with the dawn patrol. Other cats were perfectly capable of keeping the Clan safe late at night. He, in turn, would keep them fed and safe in the morning. It was how he’d always preferred to operate, and how he viewed the differences in cats - they balanced each other out.
Tonight, however, was another story, for reasons he couldn’t quite place. Tonight, he had tossed and he had turned and counted stars and measured his breath and every trick in the he had ever heard - short of raiding the medicine cats’ stores of poppy seeds. With a great huff of agitation, he stalked out of the den, past their camp, and out to Sunchaser’s Meadow. The name made him angry now - he had always imagine such wonderful things about the cat whose name was so tied to one of their Clan’s key hunting spots - but he ignored the agitation and cast his eyes up towards the stars.
“Surely, there’s some sort of reason to this,” he pleaded under his breath. “This” being a vague reference to nothing in particular, and in turn, everything in general. He had had a fairly positive outlook these past few days, it wasn’t as if stress was catching up to him. Rabbitblaze knew that logically, he was just tired and frustrated with being tired. That didn’t make it any easier, though. “There must be some sort of task left for the day. Something that needs to be sorted, planned, anything.” The stars were, of course, silent. He wasn’t granted the medicine cat’s gift, after all. He sighed with just a touch more frustration.
Well, maybe he’d plan suggestions for Snowpaw’s warrior name? That should be soon, maybe that would put his mind at rest…
