Goldenshade looked about herself as she stepped out of the nursery her head held high as she enjoyed the warmth given by the sun, she was just beginning her second moon of pregnancy and had only recently made a nest in the nursery as she grew larger as the days passed. Taking in a deep breath the queen took up a spot in front of the nursery the perks of being the only one in there was that she did not have to worry about someone needing to go around her out of the den so she was able to stay out of the way by staying in the entrance, her bi-coloured eyes flickered across the clearing of camp once more wondering what her clan mates were up to a small yawn pushed apart her jaw making her shake her head to wake some more.

｡ₓ ू ₒ ु ˚ Lionshine ˚ ू ₒ ु ₓ｡ “Oh, good morning Goldenshade!,” Lionshine purred, approaching the nursery with a meal in tow. He'd just returned from a dawn patrol - evident by stray pieces of plant litter still tangled in his fur - and so he decided he'd make use of the fresh meat to help feed the other cats. Foxlily had been trying to take up much of that duty, so Lionshine decided he might take something off their paws. In any case, he was happy to see Goldenshade in a good mood. The idea of new kits roaming around filled him with joy. “Hungry? I brought this here for you.” With that, he delicately placed the squirrel in front of her. “It's a lovely morning, isn't it?” |

They steadied themselves after they shook to see that Lionshine had joined them carrying over a piece of fresh kill a squirrel actually one of their favourites besides the occasional rabbit they got but that was a share prey or at least they thought it was, since they couldn't possibly eat a whole rabbit to themselves right now she was content with the thought from Lionshine and gave a soft smile "Good morning Lionshine, I see you were out already out." They meowed as they shifted themselves into a comfortable sitting position as they gently shifted the squirrel with them " Thank you for the squirrel, it's one of my favourites.What are you plans for this wonderful morning?" they questioned after Lionshine asked if it was a lovely morning.

How fortunate that that surprise hadn’t gone the other way around! “As you noted, I’ve already been out on the dawn patrol. Nothing in particular planned for the rest of the day, though. I think I’ll just enjoy the morning, and in the noon I’ll find where I’m needed. Maybe earlier, if my paws get too restless.”He swiped away some of the remaining forest debris off his fur, as much as he could in a few swift licks, then returned his focus to Goldenshade. “What about you? I know queens don’t do much when they’re expecting, but do you have any plans for passing the time? I’d be glad to keep you company for a bit if that’s what you need - I’ve already brought prey to the elders.” |
