They had to stop doing this. They knew their temper was getting out of hand, but it was still so damn hard to control it. They could feel it coming. They could feel themself about to snap. Yet still, it was like they were powerless to their own emotions. Whatever they said in the heat of the moment never felt like them; almost as if another creature was in control of their words. The lastest victim had been Webpaw. Somehow, some stupid SunCla apprenticed named Lightpaw had snuck his way into the MoonClan apprentices' den. Mosstumble wanted to help him escape. They had heard how harsh Beestar's punishments could be. Nobody should have to endur her wrath. If you tell a single soul about this, Webpaw, I swear to StarClan I will make your life living hell until the day I leave this den. That's what they had said to Webpaw. They sounded absolutely crazy! They didn't know what came over them in that moment. The feline grappled with the thoughts as they grappled with their old bedding. They were a warrior now and it was time to clean out the den. Fresh moss had alreayd been gathered and was waiting for Mosstumble to arrange it in the warriors' den. They rose to their paws and looked inside then den, looking for a flash of ginger.  Mentions: MosstumbleThe apprentice had laid down for a short rest after being on the dawn patrol she still wasn't completely used to waking up before the sun did for these things since usually she was put on sunhigh patrol though she supposed she could start getting used to it. It would be only 4 more moons before her warrior assessment would come around and she didn't want to disappoint her mentor by being one of the few that rose a bit later because that was all they had gotten themselves used to usually the few members that had to be woken by those also on the same patrol. However this sunrise Webpaw felt that taking a short nap would not hurt things and her mentor and the others knew where to find her due to the fact she had been a little droopy as they had neared camp again. She had been sleeping curled up in her nest comfortably tucked for a mere shift in the sun before she heard another's voice asking if she was in the den, the she-cat uncurled herself as she looked to see who was disturbing her. She blinked the sleep from her eyes even though she felt more refreshed than the first time she woke she was not impressed as she managed to see what was happening around her once more she recognized the familiar pelt of the newly made warrior Mosstumble making he shift to a sitting position she looked around noting there was not another apprentice in sight green eyes met with Mosstumble's " Yes, what is it Mosstumble?" she questioned softly she hadn't really spoken with the tom since he had snapped at her when Lightpaw had been discovered within their den. Though she hadn't outright ignored his presence she had rarely spoken to him unless needed. Txt SpeechAttack |

The part of Mosstumble that liked to avoid their problems had been hoping Webpaw wouldn't be there at all, but they didn't get that lucky this time. The dark-furred feline aresponded to their call, and Mosstumble padded over to her.
"I just wanted to apologize for the way I treated you recently. About that SunClan apprentice." They felt awkward saying it. Was it awkwardness? Embarrassment? A lack of emotional awareness meant that Mosstumble only knew that they felt weird about it. Still, they forced themself to continue, and turn it into a proper apology. "I shouldn't have said what I said. It was too harsh." |

Webpaw regarded the warrior before her for a moment her soft green eyes expressionless as normal "I have forgiven you for the incident, I won't say it it didn't hurt though." she stated she blinked softly not really sure if she should continue but felt that she should get everything out there. "I am your clan mate as someone who shared a den with you, I would have thought you knew me a little better, what happened then was a simple mistake and they were just as confused as we were. I wouldn't have just run off to tell on them, it would have just caused more problems and work to do since the other warriors would have been on edge that someone from another clan was so easily able to get in." she explained her tone never changing staying rather even throughout it. Her eyes met Mosstubles afterwards as she worked to break down her own walls that allowed her not to express her emotions she wanted them to see that she was sincere but alas thought that it was in vain much like some around her she coped with things differently and her not showing emotion was a way for her to hide from the world around her.

Mosstumble chuckled when she commented about how it had still hurt. "Yeah, that's fair," the grey and white fleine meowed before Webpaw continued. While she mntioned that Mosstumble shjould've known that she wouldn't do that, they weeren't so certain. "Y'know, Webpaw, I don't think I know you that well at all. Aside from the fact that you snore." Mosstumble lightly teased the apprentice. "Or, at least I think that was you. Kinda hard to tell."
Mosstumble had half a mind to ask her if it was her, but who knew if Webpaw would admit it, if it was even her in the first place. "So, ykmow, tell me about Webpaw? Who is she? What does she like to do?" Maybe they sounded stupid, but what better way to get to know someone than just ask? Mosstumble didn't feel like themself when they acted this way, too social for them, but maybe being more like this would help them bond with their Clanmates. They just hoped they didn't sound to awkward. |

Webpaw looked to Mosstumble trying to gauge them when she saw that they were indeed trying to make light of things she almost grinned "So you're saying you spent almost 4 moons in a den with someone and still aren't sure of who they might be?" she questioned lightly "As for snoring I can blame that for certain on Pantherpaw before he moved dens." she pouted slightly not liking the fact they said she snored "Though I will say you mumble in your sleep, might find yourself swatted over the ear if you become too loud in the warrior den might need an extra nest in another den... I suppose I wouldn't mind giving up a spot if it happened." She teased as well a soft purr attempting to soften her words. She thought about it though they were correct that hadn't exactly been the best of friends while apprentices and she had decidedly avoided them after their threatening warning so she thought about their questions for a moment "As for myself, well I tend to like being alone right now. Fewer problems and friction that way, although I suppose after a while it would just become lonely. I prefer leaf-fall to the other seasons, my favourite flower is those little yellow ones." she took a pause to see if Mosstumble was still paying attention or if she had bored them already. "And well I suppose I do what a few other apprentices do I train when I get the chance and do my best to keep my mentor proud even when it seems they aren't paying much attention," she added at last tapping her paws against the ground before she shifted her position.
