"What we do is chase it off the territory... but you're with kits.." cloud'strike stopped for a moment, thinking. "I can take it. It's only a little one, it'll run when I attack it. You have to go hide, we cannot have you and your kits getting hurt." She replied sternly, and whipped their giant frame around to face the fox, ears pinned back and tail thrashing. The fox growled again, but didn't move out of the bush.

Amaris was in shock
" But that thing may hurt you!!! I can't let that happen!"
She said panicked as she tried to take a step back as to try and get as much space from the fox as possible and to try and coax her to leave.... she accidentally steps on a stick and it snaps, the fox's eyes dilated as it lunges for her.

"Oh no you don't!" She scowled, lunging at the fox and bowling it over. Tussling with the beast like a tumbleweed in a storm, she called out to Amaris. "Climb that tree! I'll have this thing as dead as the leaves on the ground in a minute!" She turned her gaze to the queen for a minute to see if she was okay, and took a bad bite to the chest. "Ow, you nasty vermin!" They hissed angrily, and sliced it's muzzle with her sharp claws.

Amaris did as told it was hard to climb the tree with extra weight as she had to pause to catch her breath.
The fox tossed Cloud'strike away as it locks it's eyes on Amaris abd tries to catch her by jumping up and nipping just a bit of her leg.
She yelps and kicks it as she continued to climb.

Her white chest fur had turned maroon from the steady pour from her wound. She stood up, shaking their head, and let out a low growl. "Leave her alone, you monster!" Cloud'strike lunged at the fox, grabbing it's tail securely in between their teeth, and pulled it off the tree. The fox whipped around, attempting to nip the warrior but missing. Cloud threw it to the floor, quickly pinning it and immobilising the beast. Her blood dripped onto it, staining the flame coloured fur. Cloud'strike's breath was heavy, and she took a moment knowing she had it secured on the ground.

The fox looked absolutely mortified as it tried to escape now yelping in defeat, at this point Amaris was just halfway up the tree and looked at the scene from above worried that Cloud'strike would take its life.

she put her face right into the fox's, with a heavy paw on it's throat to ensure it wouldn't try and bite her. "Get out of here, you good for nothing waste of prey!" cloud'strike growled with a dark smile, before slowly freeing the terrified creature. It struggled to its feet, before speeding away out of the clan's territory. Shaking her body, crimson drops flicked from her chest. She looked up to the queen, her beyond scary expression melting into concern. "Are you alright, Amaris? Not hurt?" they asked, not daring to try to climb the tree.

She nods
" Ye-Yeah it nipped me but it isn't bad..."
She slowly climbs down, once she does she feels her legs give put as she collapses onto her side just shaken from the ordeal, winching as she felt her kits move about, not happy with how the attack caused her some stress.

"Ah!" Cloud'strike raced to her side, ready to help her in whatever way they could. "We should get you some help. And, don't worry about that fox, we hardly ever get them and I doubt that one will be coming back." she meowed, half laughing as she tried to console Amaris. "Will you be alright?"

She nods reassuringher.
" Ye-yeah yeah...I-I am okay...the kits aren't happy about the attack...I-I'll be fine. If anything what about you, you're bleeding everywhere, and it looks deep..."
She said worriedly looking at her scars, she didn't like how she seemed so reckless of herself.

She looked down at her chest, surprised. She hadn't noticed how much blood there was. "oh, whoops. Don't worry about me, it's just a little scratch." they laughed. They've had much worse. "Besides, your kits have a whole life ahead of them, we don't want them getting hurt." she added, sitting down a little shakily next to the queen.

" Alright, as long as you get yourself checked out too..."
She said grooming her fur trying to at least clean her up, a soft purr of worry still resonating within her.

Cloud'strike tensed, surprised. She was never good with physical contact. "Ah, don't worry about that. I-I can get it all fixed up, thank you though." She was genuinely happy that the queen was trying to help her, but they felt like a burden, especially when she was potentially hurt herself. Cloud gave Amaris a soft smile, and tucked her tail around their front paws.

She just continued to groom her fur
"Well, either way, what matters is that we both get checked, now just stay still for a bit, that fox messed with your fur.....and it's already too pretty to be ruined..." She huffed with pride as she just cleaned up a few places

Cloud'strike smiled sheepishly at the queen. "A-are you sure? It's a bit gruesome, I can get it if you don't want to.." She assured, worried that Amaris would be grossed out by the wounds. (aaa short sorry)
