✧ ♬♩♡ ♪♩ Rookbriar ♩♪ ♡♩♬ ✧ Surprised by the lack of words, and despite the giggles, Rookbriar idly wondered if she’d responded poorly before feeling Amaris’s warmth against her. Oh! Well, they could all do with a cuddle, couldn’t they? Pressing her head into Amaris’s chest as best as she could, she absorbed the pleasant sensation and allowed herself a loud, rumbling purr. It was comfortable - maybe too comfortable. She found herself nodding off before opening an eye and realizing Amaris likely hadn’t had the chance to share tongues in a while, and likely felt rough after the sort of day she’d had. Still feeling half asleep, she carefully licked the fur available to her to help keep it smoothed down. |

Amaris began to loudly purras she felt her small affection, just so happy of the sensation since no one has really done that for her, eyes droopy as she slowly closed them sleeping in the midst of everything and just happy to feel so safe.

✧ ♬♩♡ ♪♩ Rookbriar ♩♪ ♡♩♬ ✧ While she had given herself a new task, Rookbriar felt herself still dozing off - comforted by the combined warmth of Amaris and the kits, as well as Amaris’s purring. Still, she dutifully smoothed out all the fur she could reach, purring all the while. It was such a calming, homey feeling. She felt as if she could get lost in it. Slowly but surely, her eyes drifted shut, fluttering open every so often until sleep claimed her, moving her to follow the lead of Amaris and the kits. A comfortable, happy slumber - a family sort of nap. |
