● pansystar is a small round and fluffy domestic feline. she has long, shaggy fur. she is a light brown tabby with tabby markings on her face, chest, tail, and two stripe bands on her legs. she also has a back stripe. she has a lighter chest, paws, muzzle, and small spots under her eyes and on her cheek. she has short legs and small paws.

● Pansystar is a gentle diplomat born into a world of conflict. She never understood the fighting between two Clans, and wanted to do her best to bring peace to MoonClan. She is the type to carefully plan out her actions and think before she speaks.
Pansystar is very sociable and likes being around others. She does her best to be considerate, and tries to brighten someone's day anytime she gets the chance. Her heart is very loyal to MoonClan and she would do anything to protect them.
━━ HISTORY
She spent most of her life watching her Clanmates perish, including her own family members, in pointless battles against SunClan. They would often trade small bits of territory, but the conflict never seemed to end. Pansystar grew sick of watching her Clanmates and family perish. She decided to make it her goal to bring some peace to MoonClan.
She worked hard as a warrior to prove herself to her leader, Hailstar, and to her Clanmates. Eventually, it came time for Hailstar to choose a new deputy, and Pansyheart was chosen. At the time, her Clan adored her because of her helpfulness. This would change when she became leader.
When Pansystar became leader, she began trying to make peace with SunClan. She would flee battles more often than her predecessor and was more willing to give into SunClan if it meant keeping her Clan out of battle. This caused many of the senior warriors to turn on her or call her weak. For a while, this badly damaged Pansystar's self-image. She would doubt herself constantly and hesitate before make decisions because she feared making the wrong one. It wasn't until one of her good friends, Hazelsong, talked some sense into her did she realize that she needed to trust herself. Slowly but steadily, Pansystar learned to take more decisive action in dealing with SunClan. Still, she sometimes has trouble standing up to Beestar, but she is slowly becoming more sure of herself.

● lichenshine likes to keep to themself. she is practical, preferring to make decisions with logic instead of emotions. ironically enough, they have a short temper and don't have great control over their anger, likely stemming from their disconnect and distrust of their own emotions.
they are very work-motivated. lichenshine takes her job as a sunclan warrior very seriously, and she will always be the first to volunteer for an extra patrol shift or any other task that rabbitstar or swanmask need completed.
she is judgemental, and is known for getting into fights with warriors she believes aren't working as hard as her. because of her parent's origins as rogues, lichenshine believes that a place in clan life is something that is earned and that one must work towards everyday. it irritates her to see clan members lazing around as she believes they are taking their spot in the clan for granted.
lichenshine has several touchy topics, and one of them is allowing outsiders into the clan. despite their background, they are one of the most distrusting cats in sunclan when it comes to outsiders. this comes from their earning-your-place mentality; lichenshine believes that most outsiders don't understand how much work clanlife is, and she doesn't believe they would earn their keep. life outside the clans is unlawful and easy, or every cat would be in a clan. it would take a lot for an outsider to prove themself to lichenshine.
━━ HISTORY
lichenshine is the child of two rogues who brought her to sunclan when she was only a moon old. lichenshine's parents refused to talk about their life before sunclan, prefering to raise their child on stories of noble sunclan warriors defending their territory and defeating moonclan's cowardly warriors in battle.
as lichenshine aged, their peers began to make snide comments about their rogue background. they would tell her that she'd never be a true warrior without warrior blood. at first, this didn't make sense to a young and impressionable lichenshine; all they had ever known was sunclan.
when they asked their parents about why their clanmates treated them that way, lichenshine's parents affirmed that treatment was justified. clan life was the only life worth living, and they needed to do everything they could to fit into and contriubte to sunclan. lichenshine took this to heart and completely renounced her origins. she was born inferior and would have to serve her clan her entire life to make up for it
as lichenshine grew, they fell into the more traditionalist side of sunclan. they became excessively hostile towards outsiders. she would mock newcommers to sunclan with the same cats who had mocked her growing up. the warrior code consumed her life, espeically its tenants about defending the clans borders and the rejection of a soft kittypet life. she channeled this energy into ambition, setting her sights on sunclan's deputy position. lichenshine would prove to their clan that they were a true warrior despite their rogue background.
disclaimer: none of lichenshine's beliefs are my own! lichenshine is meant to be hypocritcal and completely wrong in her beliefs. she is meant to struggle with internalized xenophobia and this is something that she will need to combat and work through before she can become a good character and achieve any of her goals
